Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos are the segment champions

Both of these South Korean siblings have been topping the sales chart of the mid-size SUV segment since their respective launches. The Hyundai Creta has so far never been dethroned by any of the competing SUVs in the segment. The Kia Seltos, on the other hand, has a few times ceded its spot to the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. However, generally, it stays in the top three spots of the mid-size segment.

Why are these SUVs so popular?

Well, the answer to this question is that both of these SUVs are offered in multiple different variants in the country. Both of these SUVs are based on the same K-Platform and offer the exact same powertrain options. In total, there are three engine options which include a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5-litre diesel engine, and a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine. Currently, the Hyundai Creta starts at Rs 10.99 lakh for the base E variant and goes all the way up to Rs 20.15 lakh.

On the other hand, the Kia Seltos starts at Rs 10.90 lakh and goes all the way to Rs 20.30 lakh. Both of these SUVs also come loaded with features. So if you want to know what the Kia Seltos has to offer, here is our  review of the new Kia Seltos facelift as well. Check it out!
