Hyundai Creta is India’s second largest car manufacturer in India. Creta is currently one of the most popular product in Hyundai’s portfolio. The all-new Creta got launched in the market last year and just like the older version, the current generation Creta also became popular among buyers in a short span of time. There is a long waiting period on this SUV depending upon the variant you choose. Several aftermarket accessories are available for Creta in the market and we have already seen examples of modified current gen Creta on our website. Here we have one such video where a Hyundai Creta is installed with large 20 inch alloy wheels and high-end music system.
The video has been uploaded by NP Rawal vlogs on their YouTube channel. In this video, vlogger talks about all the modifications that are done on the car outside and inside. He also talks to the owner regarding the approximate cost of all these modifications. Starting outside, this was already an SX model Hyundai Creta which meant, it was already loaded with features. It was only missing couple of features that are available with the top-end SX(O) trim.
No modifications have been made to the front of the car. The SUV gets an aftermarket LED fog lamp at the front. Coming to the side profile, you notice the massive chrome finished 20 inch alloy wheels. The alloy wheels are wrapped in low profile tyres and this has completely changed the overall stance of the car. The wheels are slightly sticking outside the body of the car and no spacers are used here. The low profile tyre and the massive alloy wheel will definitely affect the ride quality and handling of the Creta.
At the rear, the tail lamps have been blacked out and the owner has also installed a set of reflector lamps with turn indicators. As we move in, the car looks simple with no major upgrades done to the upholstery. It just gets a custom made seat cover that goes with the overall theme of the stock cabin. The main upgrade done here is the music system. As it is the SX model, it already comes with a 10.25 inch touchscreen with a decent sounding speaker setup.
The owner was not happy with the setup and installed 4 new components, tweeters, a center speaker from Sony, DSP, amplifiers, Digital Signal Processor and two sub-woofers in the boot. video even shows how this new setup sounds. The system was pretty loud as expected and it looks like damping has also been done for better experience. These are the modifications that the owner of this Hyundai Creta has done.
He even discusses the approximate cost of these modifications on video. The alloy wheels costed him around Rs 1.20 lakh and the speaker system had cost him approximately 1.50 lakh. Hyundai Creta is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. There is a 1.5 litre petrol which comes with manual and CVT gearbox option. The 1.5 litre turbo diesel gets manual and 6-speed automatic transmission whereas the 1.4 litre turbo petrol engine comes with a 7-speed DCT gearbox only.
