Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) recently launched the Creta facelift. The updated SUV comes with some styling updates and new features that work together to inject some freshness into the popular compact SUV. Today, however, we will talk about an accessory that can make even the pre-facelift Creta significantly cooler. We are talking about a Tesla-like touchscreen infotainment system that comes from an Indian company called Laxo Orbis. This touchscreen infotainment system first came to light for being compatible with the hot-selling Mahindra XUV500.
This touchscreen infotainment system for the Hyundai Creta compact SUV can be ordered on the Laxo Orbis website for Rs 45,999. It may be noted here that this is the discounted price. The original selling price is Rs 55,999. While the price of this accessory is slightly on the higher side, it can definitely make your car’s dashboard look a lot more premium. This 10.4-inch Tesla-style infotainment offers an Android OS. This unit is a plug-and-play device that directly connects to the SUV’s CANBUS connector.
This touchscreen unit comes with a built-in WiFi/4G LTE/ Digital TV support. It also offers Handwriting input/multi-touch/USB SD/Bluetooth/Game features. The device supports 1080-pixel HD playback. It also supports external keyboard and mouse. Like we said, Hyundai recently launched the facelifted Creta in India. The updated Creta has a starting price of Rs 9.43 lakh. The top-end version comes with a handful of new features such as an electric sunroof, a wristband smart key, wireless phone charging, a power adjustable driver’s seat and cruise control.
The Creta continues to be powered by two diesel and a petrol engine. The diesel engines displace 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre, respectively. The petrol motor displaces 1.6-litre. All the engines come mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Additionally, the 1.6-litre units also get 6-speed automatic transmissions. The 1.4-litre oil burner outputs 89 bhp and 220 Nm.
