In a bid to consolidate Creta’s segment-best sales numbers, Hyundai has launched a new mid-level SX Executive trim in the Indian market. Hyundai has launched the trim with both petrol and diesel engine options but only a manual transmission option is available with the trim.
The Creta SX Executive is positioned between the S and the SX trim levels. Compared to the SX trim prices, the Creta SX Executive is about Rs 78,000 more affordable than the standard version. Here are the prices of the Creta SX manual and the newly launched Creta SX Executive.

The SX Executive misses out on a few features compared to the standard SX trim. In fact, Hyundai also does not offer the 10.25-inch touchscreen display with the SX Executive variant. Instead, it comes with an 8.0-inch infotainment system.
Customers choosing the executive trim can buy the bigger 10.25-inch screen with the Bluelink feature as an optional accessory from the dealership. Other features that the SX Executive misses out on are the chrome door handles. voice recognition button on the steering wheel, Akamys sound system, and burglar alarm.
Standard panoramic sunroof
Even though the bigger infotainments system is not available with the Executive trim, Hyundai offers the panoramic sunroof as standard. It gets a full-size panoramic sunroof. Apart from that, features like 17-inch silver-finished alloy wheels, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control system and automatic climate control system are standard features. Hyundai is also offering electronic stability control, rear disc brakes, and hill assist as standard with the executive trim level.
Same engine options
Hyundai will keep offering the same engine options as the newly launched variant. There is a strong demand for diesel engine options in Hyundai cars. So both the petrol and diesel engine options are available.
The new Hyundai Creta SX Executive is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that generates a maximum power of 115 PS and a peak torque of 144 Nm. It offers a 6-speed manual transmission and a CVT automatic transmission. The petrol engine returns a maximum of 16.8 km/l with the manual and 16.9 km/l with the automatic version.
The 1.5-litre diesel engine powered Hyundai Creta generates a maximum of 115 PS and a peak torque of 250 Nm. It also offers a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor. With the manual transmission, it offers a maximum of 21.4 km/l and with automatic, it offers a maximum of 18.5 km/l.
The most powerful engine is not available with the SX Executive. It is a 1.4-litre turbocharged engine available only with the top-end trim. It generates a maximum power of 140 PS with 242 Nm of peak torque. It only gets a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission and returns a maximum of 16.8 km/l
