Even though there are a few direct competitors of the Hyundai Creta in the Indian market, none of them is good enough to affect the Creta’s strong presence in the Indian market. Kia will launch their all-new products in the Indian market and their first vehicle will be the Seltos. Based on an all-new platform that will also underpin the next-generation Hyundai Creta, the Kia Seltos will become one of the best-loaded vehicles in the segment. The Seltos will offer features like HUD, air purifier, connected infotainment system, 8-speaker sound system from Bose, 6 airbags, leather upholstery and more. Kia will offer as many as three engine options and three automatic transmission options in the market. A 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine will also be available when the car is launched.

The all-new HR-V has been speculated to be launched in the Indian market for a long time now. Honda will finally launch the mid-size SUV later this year. The HR-V will take on the likes of Hyundai Creta directly in the Indian market. Honda has already started final testing of the HR-V on the Indian roads before the launch. It is likely to get powered by a 1.8-litre i-VTEC petrol engine and a 1.6-litre i-DTEC diesel engine. Both the engine options will get automatic transmission as an option.
Maruti Suzuki Vitara

Suzuki Vitara was caught testing on the Indian roads recently, which indicates that the launch of the car is not so far away. The all-new Maruti Suzuki Vitara will be positioned above the Vitara Brezza and will be the most expensive product from the brand in the Indian market. The all-new Vitara is likely to get powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine but the exact specifications are not known. It will make the competition quite fierce in the segment.

Skoda is currently heading the India 2.0 strategy and will launch an array of all-new products based on the Indianised version of the MQB-A0 platform. The Kamiq was recently unveiled globally and it will be a mid-size SUV that looks futuristic. Skoda is expected to utilise a petrol engine option with two states of tunes in the Kamiq for the Indian market. The Indian-spec Kamiq will get the 1.0-litre 3-cylinder engine that will generate around 115 Bhp and 200 Nm. It is expected to get a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The Indian version of Kamiq will also get a CNG version.

Mahindra is working on an all-new Scorpio in the Indian market. The car has been spotted testing on the roads several times. The all-new Mahindra Scorpio will grow in size and will become a butch looking vehicle. It will directly take on the like Hyundai Creta and the Tata Harrier in the coming years. It will also get an all-new 2.0-litre, which will generate around 160 Bhp of maximum power.
