MG Motors has launched the all-new Hector in the D-Segment. The all-new SUV is priced lower than the Tata Harrier but is priced much higher than the Hyundai Creta. The Hyundai Creta starts at Rs 9.6 lakh and the top-end variant is priced at Rs 15.64 lakh, The MG Hector is priced between Rs 12.18 lakh to Rs 16.88 lakh. The Tata Harrier is priced between Rs 12.22 lakh and Rs 19.65 lakh. The Tata Harrier is the only vehicle in the segment that does not offer a petrol engine option at the moment. The diesel version of MG Hector is priced at Rs 13.18 lakh, which is more expensive than the Rs 12.99 lakh price tag of the Harrier. Even the Mahindra XUV500 gets an affordable variant, which was recently launched.
