This Hyundai Creta wants to be a Alcazar

Hyundai Creta is one of the most popular mid size SUV in the segment. It has been in the market for a very long time and last year Hyundai launched the all-new Creta in the market last year. It is popular among buyers for its looks and features. Several aftermarket modifications are available for Creta and we have seen several examples in the past. Here we have a Hyundai Creta base E variant that has been neatly modified to look like Alcazar, which is Hyundai recently launched 7-seater SUV.

The video has been uploaded by VIG AUTO ACCESSORIES on their YouTube channel. In this video, vlogger shows all the modifications that have been made to the base model Hyundai Creta. He and his team has done several modification works on Hyundai Creta in the past but, this is the first project where they are installing Alcazar grille on a Creta.

For this modification or conversion, he has used Hyundai’s genuine panels. The front grille and bumper has been completely removed. Vlogger mentions that the front bumper on Alcazar fits perfectly on Creta and no modifications had to be made for that.

The front grille gets dark chrome bits and there is gunmetal grey finished skid plate on the car as well. The headlights on the base variant Creta are single projector units. This has been replaced for Alcazar’s tri-beam LED headlamps and LED DRLs. The fog lamps and turn indicators are installed on the lower part of the bumper. He mentions that none of the existing wires in the Creta were cut for making this modification.

The Creta has been installed with a grey coloured front bumper and the stock colour of the car is white. Vlogger mentions that once the work is done, they’ll be taking these parts and painting them to match the colour of the car. The steel rims on the base variant Creta have been replaced with Alcazar like 17 inch diamond cut alloy wheels.

Other than this, the interior of this Creta has also been modified. They also carry Alcazar theme. The cabin gets a black and brown theme which is seen in Alcazar. The steering wheel, dashboard, door pads are all wrapped in brown coloured leather. The A, B and C pillar in the Hyundai Creta also gets a brown treatment. Seats also carry an Alcazar theme. It gets brown and black seat covers.

An aftermarket touchscreen infotainment system has also been installed on this SUV. Overall, the work done on this Hyundai Creta looks very neat and we hope to see many more modifications of similar type in the future. Hyundai Creta is available with variety of engine and transmission options. There is a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine which is available with both manual and CVT gearbox option. Next engine option is the 1.5 litre turbo diesel engine that comes with manual and an automatic transmission. The most powerful engine offered with Creta is the 1.4 litre turbo petrol engine. This engine is available with a 7-speed DCT gearbox as standard.
