Ever since its launch the mid-size SUV from the South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor India has been on top of the best sellers list. The car has seen extensive waiting periods for most of the variants in its lineup. The model’s base variants that offer most of the ergonomics and features have also gained a ton of buyers in the country. And a lot of people have modified their stock base Cretas into top-end variants with after-market accessories. Just a few days ago we brought to you one such modified Creta that has been fitted with the alloy wheels of the much more expensive Hyundai Flagship SUV Tucson. Now a video comparison of a standard Creta and Creton (Creta with Tucson wheels) has surfaced online.
The video has been uploaded by VIG AUTO ACCESSORIES on their YouTube channel and in the video, the owner and presenter of the shop show the two models from a side-by-side angle. The presenter starts the video by saying he will be presenting the comparison between the standard Creta and the Creton. He tells that the viewers can check out the difference between the looks of the Creta with 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and the Creta with 18-inch Tucson alloy wheels.

He then tells that there is not much difference in the price of the two setups and he adds that he always advices his customers to go for the upgrade to Tucson 18-inch alloy wheels because it makes a lot of difference. From the video we can note that the Creton on the left looks a little taller than the standard Creta. The bigger alloy wheels and smaller tyres make it look much more cleaner and upmarket. In a prior video the presenter showed a white Hyundai Creton.
The Hyundai Creta as mentioned is the top selling mid-size SUV in the country and for the longest none of its competition have been able to dethrone it from the top spot. Earlier this month, the South Korean automaker also gave the Creta the MY2023 update. The company also upgraded the seven seater iteration of Creta – the Alcazar. With the new 2023 year update the company has further increased the number of safety features on both the SUV twins. Additionally, the company has also upgraded the engines to now comply with the forthcoming RDE regulations and have also made them E20 fuel ready.
The new 2023 model year Creta will now come equipped with a host of comprehensive active and passive safety features as standard. These features include 6 Airbags (Driver, Passenger, Side & Curtain), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), Rear Disc Brakes, Seatbelt Height Adjustment and ISOFIX. Meanwhile the Alcazar on the other hand will now come equipped with 6-Airbags (Driver, Passenger, Side & Curtain) as standard. In addition to safety package enhancement, the company also announced that its range of SUVs will now come equipped with Idle Stop & Go (ISG) feature. Also, the 2023 Creta will now get 60:40 Split Rear Seat as a standard feature as part of the new updates.
