Hyundai today launched their new sedan the Elantra in India in the range of Rs. 12.51 lakh to Rs. 15.85 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The new Elantra is available in both manual and automatic transmissions in petrol and diesel form. Here we take a closer look at all the interesting features that this car offers.
Automatic headlamps: Automatic headlamps turn on each time you enter a dark place, like a tunnel or basement parking lot. This makes it easier for the driver to drive in the dark as no time is spent turning on the headlight.

Silica tyres: Silica tyres allow the car to maintain stability and direction on varied surfaces. It prevents skidding and checks rolling resistance. It also helps improve fuel efficiency.
Rear parking camera: The rear parking camera makes parking in tight spots a tension free affair. With an inside rear view mirror integrated display.
Rear parking sensors: The rear parking sensors beep and sound the alarm if you get too close to an object while reversing the car, making it easier to detect obstacles.
Impact sensing door locks: Impact sensing door locks are an essential safety feature, which helps unlock your car automatically during and accident so that you do not get stuck inside the car in a life threatening situation
ABS with EBD and VSM: Safety features like ABS and electronic brake distribution mean that the car is safe during panic braking. Stability is further aided by the vehicle stability management technology or VSM. This combines ESP with power steering to help the driver steer in the right direction during sudden braking or acceleration.
Hill Assist: The hill assist system makes going up and down steep inclines or slopes much easier. It prevents the car from rolling back on inclines and allows you to drive without pressing the brakes or pulling the handbrake.

Smart Key and push button start: These two are features we are now used to seeing, after the Verna. It means that starting, locking and unlocking the car is all just a touch away.
Dual Zone AC: The Dual Zone FATC (fully automatic temperature control) takes care of the cabin temperature without any involvement from the driver or passengers. This makes long drives through varied conditions more comfortable and hassle free.
Rear AC Vents: The rear AC vents ensure that the rear passengers don’t have to wait for the cabin to cool gradually. The cooling at the rear is immediate and effective.
