Hyundai is India’s second largest car manufacturer with a variety of products in their portfolio. One of the popular car from the manufacturer was Hyundai Elite i20. It was a premium hatchback that was on sale till last year. The Elite i20 was replaced with next-generation i20 which looks a lot more premium and offers more features on the inside. i20 competes with cars like Maruti Baleno, Honda Jazz, Tata Altroz, Volkswagen Polo in the segment. In the past, we have seen several examples of tastefully modified Elite i20s and here we have a video that shows a gorgeous looking modified Elite i20 with air suspension.

The video has been uploaded by Modified Madness on their YouTube channel. It is a short video shows a glimpse of all the modification that is done to the car. At the front, there is a skirting installed on the lower part of the bumper. This gives the i20 a sporty stance. The lower grille and Hyundai logo has been blacked out. The headlamp is a stock unit but, it has been slightly smoked out to give it a sporty look. The whole car has been painted in a racing red colour which looks extremely good. The roof and the ORVMs are blacked out to justify the sporty look.

There is a quick release bumper clip on the front. It is not known whether it is functional or is it their just for the show. Moving to the side profile, you would notice that the car is almost hugging the road. The Elite i20 has been installed with air suspension. There is a side skirt installed which contributes to the lowered look of the car. The height of the car can be adjusted with a touch a button. The air pressure gauge is also installed in the cabin. The stock alloy wheels have been replaced. It now now gets a set of beautiful aftermarket alloys that wrapped with low profile tyres.

Just like at the front, the chrome garnishes and beadings on the window line have all bee blacked out. Moving to the rear, the car gets stock bumper but, there are LED reflector lamps installed on the bumper. There is a gloss black spoiler mounted on the roof which goes well with the overall look of the car. It is not known whether any modifications have been done to the engine of this Elite i20 but, it does get a loud aftermarket exhaust.  Not much information is available regarding the interior of the car as well.

The Elite i20 was available with a 1.2 litre petrol and a 1.4 litre diesel engine. As part of the BS6 transition, the diesel engine was discontinued and i20 Elite was available with a petrol engine only. The petrol engine in Elite i20 came with manual and CVT gearbox options. The all-new i20 that got launched last year gets three different engine options. There is a 1.0 litre turbo petrol engine option that comes with iMT and 7-speed DCT gearbox. There is a 1.2 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that comes with manual and IVT gearbox options and there is a 1.5 litre diesel engine option which comes with a manual gearbox option only.
