Hyundai India soft-launched the i20 Elite hatchback’s automatic variants a few days ago. Today, the South Korean automaker has officially launched the i20 Elite CVT Automatic hatchback in the Indian market. The premium hatchback’s automatic variants are available in Magna and Asta trims. The Hyundai Elite i20 Magna Automatic starts from Rs. 7.04 lakhs, while the Asta Automatic trim is priced at Rs. 8.16 lakhs, ex-showroom Delhi.
These prices make the Elite i20 Automatic the most affordable car in its segment, cheaper than both the Maruti Baleno CVT Automatic and the Honda Jazz CVT. Bookings for the i20 Elite CVT are now open at all Hyundai dealerships across India. Talking of the various changes in the car, the Hyundai Elite i20 AT is based on the petrol variant. It is powered by a 1.2 litre VTVT petrol engine with 82 Bhp and 115 Nm.
The CVT automatic gearbox offers seamless torque transmission to the front wheels of the car, and makes driving very smooth and convenient. The automatic variant is based on the recently facelifted Elite i20, which means that it gets revised front and rear styling.
