Hyundai i20 Elite: 10 ‘crazy cool’ modified examples from India

The Hyundai Elite i20 is one of the best-looking cars in its segment. The Elite i20 was launched in 2014, and even today the car looks very fresh. Here are ten modified examples of the Elite i20 from across the country.

Motormind

This modified example from Bangalore gets custom body kit that makes it look much sharper. At the front, the car gets a split diffuser with a new bumper. The rear also gets a new bumper with new split diffuser.

There is also a new hatch lid mounted spoiler that further accentuates the looks of the vehicle. This Elite i20 gets projector headlamps with angel eyes, and LED DRL strips placed on the front bumper. There are also bumper integrated indicators at the rear.

Yellow

The mod house – Kit Up from Coimbatore has wrapped this i20 and it looks fabulous. The car gets neat looking sunshine yellow wrap on the body while the alloys, tail lamps and the roof have been blacked out to give it a dual tone effect.

The car also gets projector headlamps with angel eyes. Kit Up! has also modified the interiors by wrapping it in leather.

Wide Body

This is India’s one of the few bold-on wide body Elite i20 modifications. The mod job has been done by Drift Automotive Design. The car gets new front and rear bumpers, side skirts and custom wheel arches, which give it a very wide profile. The car rides on 16-inch rims and low profile tyres. The car also gets TEIN aftermarket suspension upgrade.

Give me wings

The modification job from Delhi is one of its kind. The Elite i20 seen here gets scissor doors, which makes it unique in the country. The car also gets aftermarket hood with vents on it. Rest of the vehicle looks stock.

Clean and simple

This modified example from Kerala shows how simple mods can change the overall look of the vehicle. The car gets aftermarket black alloy wheels with wide profile tyres. At the rear, the vehicle gets aftermarket splitter with dual exhaust look. There is also a roof-mounted spoiler completing the look.

Mustang!

Yes we know that Mustang is from the USA and the Hyundai is from South Korea but still, here is a very ambitious project that looks great. The car gets similar three-part grille, a larger air intake and custom widebody kit. At the rear, the car gets new wider fenders. The rear bumper gets dual exhaust tips with a new diffuser. The front of the vehicle gets vertical LED cluster on either side. The whole look is quite intense.

Mean Green

This lowered i20 from Kerala looks great, especially with the widebody kit. The car gets a big hood scoop, new bumper with splitter and headlamp modification. The body is also much wider with the new kit. At the rear, the Elite i20 gets an aggressive bumper with quad exhaust tips. The wheels have been upgraded too.

Slammed

This is India’s one of the fastest i20. The car gets a Ferrari red paint job and a slammed suspension. The car rides on 17-inch rims with low profile tyres. The car also gets a widebody kit that looks great. The car gets Pete’s performance remap, and green cotton filters that makes it much quicker. At the front, the vehicle also gets auxiliary headlamps mounted on the bumper.

Bright

This candy orange Elite i20 cannot be missed easily. The car gets an extremely wide body kit that gives it a menacing look. There is a big hood scoop to start with. the front bumper and the grille have been changed that completely gives a new identity to the Elite i20. The headlamps remain stock.

Black Demon

Here is yet another custom job from Kerala that gives a complete makeover to the Elite i20. the car gets high gloss metallic black paint finish. The car also gets plush interiors done up in red leather that gives it an extremely sporty feeling. The custom kit includes sporty bumpers with larger air intakes.

There are also angel eye corona rings around the projector headlamps. The negative offset wheels are sprayed in gunmetal and are wrapped in wide profile tyres. The rear gets a new bumper with new diffuser and roof-mounted spoiler.
