Hyundai India has slightly tweaked the features list for its models like the Elite i20, the i20 Active, and the Verna for MY 2016. The cars will hit the showrooms soon and have better standard equipment than the outgoing versions.
Starting with the i20 first. The car now comes with dual airbags standard across the range. It comes in five trim levels and the lower ones (Era and Magna) still miss out on ABS. The top-spec Asta (O) gets projector headlamps, LED DRLs, 16-inch alloys, and a 7-inch AVN system.
The midsize sedan Verna has also been updated. It now gets dual airbags standard across the range. Like the i20, it remains mechanically unchanged. The Base variant is available only with 1.4-litre petrol and diesel engines, while the rest of the range gets the larger 1.6-litre units too. The top-spec SX(O) gets six airbags, disc brakes on all four wheels, push button start, rain-sensing wipers, etc.
