Hyundai launched the all-new Creta in the market earlier this year and just like the older version, the new version is also becoming popular and slowly regaining its top position on the sales chart. All-new Creta competes with cars like Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier, Nissan Kicks, MG Hector in the segment. Hyundai recently announced that they had crossed over 55,000 bookings and now, the brand has released official sales figures for Creta for the month of July 2020. Hyundai sold 11,549 units of Creta just in this one month. Considering the current market situation this comes as a huge relief and is also a proof on how popular this compact SUV is among its customers. The Creta has also beaten the Kia Seltos in terms of monthly numbers. The Seltos did 8,270 units in July 2020.
Hyundai Creta has once again regained the top position and is largest selling vehicle in this segment. Since its launch, Hyundai has managed to sell a total of 21,968 units of Creta in our market. The 2020 Creta is an all-new SUV and is based on a new platform. It is a modified version of the platform that we have seen in Kia Seltos. The all-new SUV looks entirely different from the older version. It has now become a bit more futuristic looking and looks more premium too.

The exterior design get elements like boomerang shaped LED DRLs, tri-beam projector LED lamps, a huge cascading grille, dual tone alloy wheels and an all LED boomerang shaped LED tail lamp. On the inside, as usual, Hyundai has offered a feature loaded cabin. It gets a huge touchscreen infotainment screen, inbuilt smart air purifier, wireless charging, multi-function steering wheel, ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof and so on.
The Hyundai Creta is available with three engine options that are compliant with new emission norms. The 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine available with a manual and CVT gearbox option. The engine generates 115 PS of peak power and 144 Nm of peak torque. The 1.5 litre diesel engine which is available with a manual and torque converter automatic transmission, is capable of generating 115 PS of peak power and 250 Nm of peak torque. The 1.4 litre turbocharged petrol engine is the most powerful among the three and generates 140 PS of peak power and 242 Nm of peak torque. It is available with a 7-speed DCT gearbox only.
