Hyundai Styx will be the brand’s first-ever sub-4-meter SUV in the world. With the rising popularity of vehicles like Tata Nexon, Maruti Vitara Brezza and Ford EcoSport, Hyundai will also get on the bandwagon. The Styx will be the production version of the Carlino concept and is internally named as QXi. The all-new car will be powered by a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that generates a maximum of 110 Bhp and a peak torque of 170 Nm. The diesel engine can be the same as the 1.4-litre turbocharged.

Hyundai Kona EV

Expected launch: Mid 2019

Hyundai will launch their first-ever electric vehicle in India in the form of Kona Electric Vehicle. It would be launched only in the electric version in India even though it is available in many other powertrain versions in the foreign markets.

It is not confirmed but Hyundai may assemble the vehicle in India if it becomes popular in the market initially. The Indian assembly would help it to keep the prices competitive. The Hyundai Kona EV would get a 64 kWh battery that will propel the SUV to up to 480 km on a single charge.
