The all-new Santro will be priced a little higher than the Eon, and is expected to compete with the Tata Tiago in terms of pricing. It will feature a 3 cylinder petrol engine, whose displacement has not yet been revealed. A 5 speed manual gearbox will be offered as standard while an AMT option is also expected to be offered. The new Santro will feature a tall-boy design, just like the original model that made its debut in India during 1998.

The Elite i20 premium hatchback will get a facelift next year, more than 3 years after its launch in the second half of 2014. The facelifted car will continue to have the same petrol and diesel engines as the present model. The major changes will be in terms of the front and rear styling. The car will also get new features. The 1.4 liter petrol engine will be offered with a 4 speed automatic gearbox, and will make 99 Bhp-130 Nm.

The diesel engine will also be a 1.4 liter but will be turbocharged, with 89 Bhp-220 Nm, and a 6 speed manual gearbox. The 1.2 liter petrol engine will be offered on the entry level variants, with a 5 speed manual gearbox. The petrol engine will generate 82 Bhp-114 Nm. Apart from these hatchbacks, Hyundai will also launch a facelifted Creta compact SUV next year. The Creta will get a makeover on the interiors and exteriors. The facelifted Creta will be priced similar to the current model.
