Hyundai is working to launch a new variant of the Tucson that will get additional features. It will be the new top-of-the-line variant and will be known as the GLS+. With the additional features, the price of the new variant will be Rs. 60,000 more than the current GLS variant, which is the most expensive in the line-up. The new variant will launch before Diwali and will compete with the new Jeep Compass Limited Plus variant that was launched recently in the market.

Hyundai has been planning to launch the new premium variant for a long time now. However, the plans are materializing just now. The new variant will also be premium from the inside. It will get an all-black interior that will add a sporty touch to the SUV. One of the major feature addition in the GLS+ is the panoramic sunroof that will be quite big in size. The SUV may also get ventilated seats like the Verna but it has not been confirmed yet. Recently, Jeep also launched the Compass Limited Plus with a panoramic sunroof. The new variant of the Tucson will directly compete with the new variant of the Compass.
