Hyundai Venue compact SUV: Variant-wise features revealed

Hyundai India will soon launch the all-new Venue in the Indian market on 21st May. However, before the launch, all the details of the car are out. Even the prices of a few variants have been leaked. Hyundai Venue will take on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300. Here is a detailed list of all the features that the Hyundai Venue will get. The Hyundai Venue will be available in 5 trim levels and there are eleven variants to choose from. Since the car will offer three engine options with optional automatic transmission, the variants are quite well spread out.

Hyundai Venue E

Engine and transmission – 1.2 petrol MT, 1.4 diesel MT. Colour – Monotone

The base E variant of the Hyundai Venue will get the 1.2-litre petrol manual transmission and 1.4-litre diesel manual transmission. It is the base variant of the model and will get features like day/night IRVM, impact-sensing door unlock, speed-sensing door lock and tilt adjustable steering. The base variant of the Hyundai Venue also gets standard features like Dual Airbags with ABS and EBD, manual AC, manual central locking, engine immobilizer, clutch lock, ISOFIX seat anchors, impact sensing Auto door unlock, rear parking sensor, body colour bumper and outside door handle, waistline moulding, clutch footrest, battery saver, eco-coating and lane-change indicator.

Hyundai Venue S

Engine and transmission – 1.2 petrol MT, 1.0 petrol MT, 1.0 petrol DCT and 1.4 diesel MT, Colour – Monotone

The S variant of the Venue sits just above the base variant and offers all the features available with the base variant of the Venue. It also offers both manual and automatic transmission options. The feature list of the Hyundai Venue S includes keyless, headlamp escort, rear defogger, body colour ORVM, electronically adjustable ORVM, roof rails, dark chrome theme radiator grille, double stitched fabric seat covers, centre console fixed armrest with storage, rear AC vent, rear power outlet, rear parcel tray, all power windows with driver-side one-touch function, glove box cooling, sun visor mirror, 2-DIN audio, steering control for infotainment and phone, 4-speakers, Electronic Stability Control, Vehicle Stability Management. The DCT automatic transmission also gets supervision cluster with rheostat and Brake Assist System.

Hyundai Venue SX

Engine options: 1.0 petrol MT, 1.4 diesel MT, Colour – Monotone and dual-tone. 

The SX variant of the Hyundai Venue will get all the features available with the S variant. Plus there will be projector fog lamps, automatic headlamps, projector headlamps, headlamp cornering, LED DRL, power foldable ORVM with turn indicator and LEd tail lamp. It also gets heigh adjustable driver seat, adjustable rear seat headrest, automatic climate control, leather gear knob and steering wheel, rear camera with display, cruise control, electric sunroof, map lamp, 8-inch HD infotainment system with Arkamys tuned speakers, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, voice recognition, USB charger and shark fin antenna. The car also gets leather PU seats with the dual-tone colour option.

Hyundai Venue SX+

Engine options: 1.0 petrol DCT, Colour – Monotone

The SX+ variant will be only available with the SX+ variant of the car. It gets ESC, VSM, BAS, Burglar alarm, chrome handles, supervision cluster with rheostat, wireless charger, 8-inch HD infotainment screen, telematics, Day/Night IRVM, smart key plus push-button start, air purifier.

Hyundai Venue SX(O)

Engine and transmission available: 1.0 petrol MT and 1.4 diesel MT. Colour – All monotone

The top-end version of the Hyundai Venue will be available with side and curtain airbags with a total number of 6 airbags. It also gets ESC< VSM, BAS and HAC. All the features including wireless charger, air purifier, 60:40 split seat, OE telematics with remote, Day/Night IRVM are all available with the variant.
