Hyundai Venue N-Line launched; What makes it special?

Hyundai India has introduced its second performance-oriented product – the Venue N-Line. This is the second N-Line bred product after the all-new i20 N-Line in the Indian market. The new Venue N-Line gets a price tag of Rs 12.16 lakh and it will be available in two variants – N6 and N8. It is the top-end variant of the Venue model and offers a long list of features. Hyundai India has launched the car on Metaverse, which makes it a first-of-its-kind launch experience in India.

The new Venue N-Line looks sportier, thanks to all the new additions to the car. Starting with the new larger spoilers at the front and rear, the Venue N-Line looks more aggressive too. The car also gets new side skirts and bumper splitters at both ends. The N-Line gets distinctive red accents on the roof rails and the brake callipers.

Even the alloy wheels in the new Venue N-Line are different. The alloy wheels are of 16-inches and get a special design with N-Line branding. Hyundai has also added prominent ‘N-Line’ badging on the front fender and the tailgate of the new Venue.

A sportier cabin

The cabin of the new Hyundai Venue N-Line also gets a lot of updates. It now gets an all-black cabin with contrasting red accents on the gear knob, central console and dashboard. The seats get contrasting red stitches and it matches the theme of the door pads.

The new Venue N-Line also offers an N-Spec steering wheel. The steering wheel is very different from the standard model and gets different contours and paddle shifters. The feature list includes an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluelink connected car technology and BOSE surround sound system. The Venue N-line also gets Home to car connectivity through Alexa and Google Home. It is considered the most connected SUV in its segment.

The new feature list also comes with a new dashboard camera that has a dual-lens and records the cabin as well as the outside. There is an electric sunroof, puddle lamps with red ambient lighting, automatic climate control and a four-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat.

Sounds exotic

The all-new Hyundai Venue N-Line is powered by a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that generates a maximum power of 118 PS and peak torque of 172 Nm. The Venue N-Line only offers a seven-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT).

Hyundai has tweaked the suspension set-up to make it stiffer. The stiffer suspension will give the Hyundai Venue N-Line better driving and handling capabilities. The N-Line variant of the Hyundai Venue also gets disc brakes on all four wheels. The exhaust is tweaked, which gives it a sportier exhaust note.
