Hyundai has a variety of products in their Indian line-up. They have small hatchbacks to premium SUVs and are currently the second largest car manufacturer in India. Hyundai recently introduced N Line version of their premium hatchback i20 in the Indian market. The car is actually a sportier version of regular i20 hatchback. N-Line is different from the performance N version that are available in international market. N versions are strictly performance versions whereas the N Line is a sportier looking version of regular cars. Here we have a render image that shows how Hyundai Venue would like if an N version of the sub-4 meter SUV were to be launched.
Hyundai Venue is the entry level SUV from Hyundai in Indian market. It is a popular SUV in its segment and it competes with cars like Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300 in the segment. Just like i20 N, the render artist has also made some cosmetic changes to the Venue to make it look a lot more sportier.
First thing that one would notice about Venue is the paint job. It get Hyundai’s performance Blue paint job. The front grille remains the same but, there is an N badging on the front grille. The turn indicators and projector style headlamps on the bumper with squarish LED DRLs are all retained. the difference however is on the lower part of the bumper.

There is a black skirting on the front bumper with red outlines. Coming to the side profile, it looks like the car has been lowered slightly for improving the handling. The Hyundai Venue N version gets new set of alloy wheels with disc brakes and red calipers on all four wheels. Just like at the front, the car gets skirting on the side with red accents for a sportier look. The rear bumper on this Venue N version would have also been revised for a sporty look.
All the chrome elements on the regular Venue has been removed or blacked out for different look. If Hyundai ever brings an N version of Venue in the market, the interiors will also be updated. it would get an all black theme for the interior that will be neatly broken by red accents and stitching at places.
It must be made clear that Hyundai currently has no plans to introduce an N Version of Venue compact SUV in the market. Even if Hyundai launches it, it is highly unlikely that we would get that in India. We might get an N-Line version based on the 1.0 litre turbo petrol version of the SUV. The render image is just a creation of artist’s imagination.
Hyundai Venue is available with several features like a touchscreen infotainment screen, cruise control, electric sunroof and so on. The Venue is available with three engine options. There is a 1.2 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that comes with manual gearbox. The 1.5 litre turbo diesel engine also comes with a manual gearbox. The last engine option is 1.0 litre, three cylinder turbo petrol which is doing duties in other Hyundai vehicles as well. The engine is available with an iMT, DCT and manual gearbox option.
