Hyundai Venue official bookings to start soon before the launch

Hyundai’s much-awaited vehicle, the sub-4m compact SUV – Venue will be launched on 21st May. But before that, Hyundai will officially start accepting the bookings for the SUV from 2nd May 2019. Many Hyundai dealerships across India have started accepting bookings unofficially but from 2nd May, customers will be able to make bookings directly through Hyundai’s online web portal.

The Hyundai Venue is a much-awaited car in the Indian market and it will take on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, Ford EcoSport and Tata Nexon. Even though Hyundai is a late-entrant in the segment, the Venue offers a range of segment-first features that will make the allow the manufacturer to grab the attention of the customers.

The all-new Venue will get powered by three engine options. There will be a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine that produces a maximum of 82 Bhp and 115 Nm of peak torque. The 1.4-litre turbocharged diesel engine in the Venue produces a maximum of 89 Bhp and 220 Nm of torque. Both these engine options are available only with a 5-speed manual transmission. Hyundai will also offer a performance-oriented 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that produces a maximum of 118 Bhp and 172 Nm. This engine will be available with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Feature-wise, the Hyundai Venue will be loaded to the brim. The compact SUV will get a plethora of first-in-segment features. The most prominent feature of the upcoming Venue will the BlueLink connectivity system th at has multiple functions including live tracking of the vehicle using GPS, emergency notifications in case of an accident, remote control of features like AC, windows and the ignition of the vehicle.

The Venue also offers features like wireless phone charging, projector fog lamps, air purifier with self-cleaning AC filter and a 3-year unlimited km warranty with roadside assistance. The feature list does not end there. Hyundai also offers features like electrically controlled sunroof, high definition infotainment system with Arkamys sound output, cruise control, 6-airbags, electronic stability program, speed alerts, reverse parking sensors with camera, dual-zone climate control and more.

The all-new Venue will be the first vehicle from the brand in the segment. It will face stiff competition from the likes of Tata Nexon and the best-seller Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza but with the Hyundai brand name, the Venue is expected to gain quick popularity in the market.

Hyundai Venue is expected to carry a price tag of around Rs 8 lakhs, which will make it pricier than the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza in the Indian market. Hyundai is also working an N-Line variant of the Venue that will be launched in the coming years in the global markets.
