Hyundai launched the Venue around a month back and the sub-4 meter SUV has garnered a decent response from buyers. The stylish vehicle rivals the likes of the Ford EcoSport, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon and Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza among others in the sub-4 meter the segment. Like every other new vehicle that comes in the market, aftermarket accessories and customization options have started flowing in for the Venue as well. The Venue featured in this video is the top-end turbo petrol variant, which means that it already comes with all the bells and whistles expected from it. This includes stylish alloy wheels, touch screen infotainment system and sunroof among other features. However, the owner of this Venue wanted to further enhance his ride and hence gone for the aftermarket customization route. The video also shows several accessories that are now available for the Venue but have not been installed on this particular car. Let’s now take a look at what all changes have been made on this car.
The headlamps of this cars now get aftermarket HID units along with LED projector fog lamps. The cornering lights have also been replaced with aftermarket LED units. This has been done to enhance the light throw of the headlights and provide better illumination in the dark. The window sill now gets a chrome garnish running along the shoulder line while window visors have also been installed on the car.
Coming to the interiors of this Venue, being the top-end turbo petrol variant, it comes with full black interiors with leather upholstery. The owner of this car has changed the seat covers and floor mats of the car but has gone for the same black theme again. A boot mat has also been laid down in the trunk while the interiors have been fitted with LED ambient lights. For those who want to customize their Venue, a full chrome kit is now available in the market that includes parts like tail light cover, headlight middle cover, headlight upper cover, catch cover, mirror cover, and petrol tank cover, all in chrome. several types of customized front grilles are also available in the market.
Talking about the Hyundai Venue, it comes with three engine options. There is a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates a maximum power of 82 Bhp along with a peak torque of 114 Nm and comes with only a 6-speed manual transmission. The diesel variants of the Hyundai Venue are powered by a 1.4-litre diesel engine that generates a maximum power of 89 Bhp along with 220 Nm and gets automatic gearbox as an option. The most powerful engine powering the Venue is a 1.0-litre turbocharged engine that generates a maximum power of 118 Bhp and peak torque of 172 Nm. It gets an optional 7-speed DCT transmission along with the manual option.
