Hyundai India launched the all-new Venue in the Indian market earlier this year and it has become quite popular in the market. The all-new car is a much-awaited vehicle and officially, more than 20,000 bookings were received by the manufacturer soon after the bookings were open. This has created a huge waiting period in some parts of the country.
The Hyundai Venue’s waiting period ranges from a minimum of 10 days to a maximum of 2 months. The waiting period depends on the location, variant, colour and engine. Every manufacturer dispatches the most popular variants in large quantities, which ensures that the less popular variants and colours have a high waiting period. The minimum waiting period on Hyundai Venue is in Chennai. It is where the car is manufactured, which is why there is no delay in transporting the vehicle from the factory to the dealerships. The other parts of the country take a longer time to receive new vehicles. The maximum waiting period on the car is of 2 months in the cities like Bengaluru, Indore and Noida.
The data comes from CarDekho, who have also listed the waiting periods of the rival cars in the segment. The popular Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza has a maximum waiting period of 3 months in Bangalore while in a few cities, the car is readily available in the showrooms. The Mahindra XUV300, which was launched earlier this year has a maximum waiting period of two months in Delhi while the Ford EcoSport gets a maximum waiting period of 1 month in Kolkata.
