Hyundai Venue is one of the most popular SUV in the sub-4 meter compact SUV segment. It competes with cars like Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300 and Ford EcoSport. It became a popular choice among buyers in a very short span of time because of the looks, features and the price at which it was offered. Like any other car Hyundai Venue is also chosen by people who love to customise or modify their vehicle as per their personal preference. We have seen many such examples in the past and here we have one such modified Hyundai Venue with a set of new alloys.
The video has been uploaded by Technical Bhopal on their youtube channel. The Venue shown in the video as per the vlogger is a base variant and gets new set of alloy wheels that replace the regular steel wheel that come with the car. Usually, the Hyundai Venue comes with 15 inch wheels for the lower end version and 16 inch version for SX trim and above. The Venue seen in the video is the version that gets a 15 inch steel wheel as standard. The owner of the car had opted for a sporty looking 5 spoke alloy wheels that are 17 inch in size.
The 17 inch tyres add up to the overall stance of the car and do not look odd. The new addition that is the 17 inch tyres and the alloy wheels give it a proper SUV look. There is a reason why the owner or the customisation would have gone for the 17 inch tyres. First reason is ofcourse the look. They do not look out of place on the car, Second if the size would have been any bigger, there is a huge possibility that it would affect the overall handling and ride comfort of the car. third is the performance. Putting oversized tyres and heavy alloys definitely affect the performance of the car. The Venue looks pretty neat in this new set of alloys. There are other minor modifications like door visors and so on.
Hyundai Venue is available with three engine options. A 1.2 litre petrol, a 1.5 litre diesel and a powerful 1.0 litre turbo petrol engine. The 1.2 petrol and 1.5 diesel are only available with a manual transmission and the 1.0 litre turbo petrol is available with a manual as well as a DCT gearbox. All the engines in Venue are now compliant with Bharat Stage 6 emission norms.
