ILL-TREATED Rolls Royces, Bentleys & Mercedes Benzes from around India

Supercars and exotic cars are in abundance in our country now as compared to some time before. Almost every car brand is now available in India and found many takers too among the elite. Brands like Mercedes Benz, BMW, Audi, Jaguar etc have become household names and people might not even turn to take a second glance at them. However, some of the high-profile cars have been subjected to ill-treatment and negligence. Here is a look at 10 such mistreated Rolls Royces/Bentleys/Mercedes Benzes of India.

This is the previous generation Rolls Royce Phantom and as you might have noticed, the spirit of ecstasy emblem has been stolen from it. It was seized by the Delhi Police some time before from a rented farmhouse in Asola. It was the same case in which South Indian actress Leena Maria Paul was arrested in a cheating case involving the Canara Bank. The car is already on its way to deterioration and will not survive long if the ordeal continues.

This Rolls Royce Ghost once belonged to the businessman tycoon Mohammed Nisham that has been seized by the cops. Actually, this was a famous case which made it to the nationnal media as well. Nisham was stopped by a lady cop for driving his Ghost under the influence of alcohol. The lady sub-inspector entered the car to retrieve the car’s keys. However, Mohammed Nisham, who was outside his Ghost, locked the cop inside the car. No wonder, his car has been left to rot in a police compound.

The car you see above is a lovely vintage Rolls Royce from Khandala. As evident from the picture, the car is now in a pretty bad condition. It is said that the car was one owned by the Talera’s (of Talera Ford fame). What might have been the reason for such a beautiful car to be left rotting is something which we also can’t get. But it would make anyone sad to see it in this condition.

Again in a pretty lame condition, the car in seen above is a Mercedes S-Class which is a couple of generations old. One can easily see in the picture that the suspension has given up and the car now hugs the ground because of that. This once-a-marvelous German beauty is one of the more damaged ones on the list and it’s really sad to see the poor condition of this luxurious chariot.

Another Previous generation S-class gathering dust, it seems like the S-Classes are having a pretty bad afterlife in India. Though it has not received much damage yet, it will be blown in no time if it continues to remain in this way. No one knows about the car’s owner or why this stately sedan has been left to rot.

This one really made our heart weep. A purists dream, this one here is the Mercedes Benz CLS63 and was seen parked neglected on a street of Mumbai. It seems that it has been in this condition for some time now and there’s no word on why the car has been left to gather dust. It has also got some modifications upon it like those aftermarket silencer tips.

Now this one here is a proper sports car but fate has no mercy over anyone. This is a powerful Mercedes Benz CL55 AMG seems to have suffered from a suspension breakdown. It’s really shocking to see such high-performance cars in such a poor shape. With the rear window housing missing, god knows what might have been done to the interiors.

Seen above is a Bentley Continental Flying Spur that has been neglected for quite a while now. As is usually the case, there’s no information on the owners or on the reason for leaving this piece of beauty to rot.

The last one on the list, seen above is a Bentley Continental GT that has been decaying in a police compound for long. It is said that this car was recovered from a gang of car thieves, who were in possession of many such costly cars. Whatever be the matter, such condition of this exotic car not permissible. But God’s always been known to be unfair to some, same is the case here.

Here is another Bentley Continental GT that was spotted in the same compound as the above Bentleys. Police recovered the car from the same thieves and it is still rotting in the police station till the final judgement arrives.
