The facelifted front fascia grabs your attention instantly, courtesy the redesigned headlamp cluster with Multibeam LED headlight units. An all-new front grille with the three pointed star sits prominently at the centre of the grille while the front bumper and air dams see revisions. All the new styling elements blend in perfectly to give the coupe a more aggressive character. The rear of the 2015 CLS is largely unchanged, barring the new bumper at the rear. The tail lamp cluster remains the same.

On the inside, you get an all new 3 spoke sports steering wheel in addition to the 8 inch display unit on the center console. The centre console also becomes easier to operate, as it now gets four buttons instead of the earlier two. The interiors will be up for some heavy customization as Mercedes is offering them in five shades coupled with six trims and finishes of leather upholstery.

As far as the India-spec 2015 CLS Class is concerned, the car is likely to retain the same turbo diesel motors displacing 2.2 liter (204 Bhp-500 Nm) and 3 liter (254 Bhp-620 Nm) capacities, which have also been propelling the pre-facelift version here. The 3.5 liter V6 petrol (306 Bhp-370 Nm) is also expected to be retained on the new car.

All engines on the 2015 CLS coupe will see a change in the transmission department, and will come mated to an all-new 9G-Tronic, 9 speed automatic gearbox. The CLS Class comes to us via the CBU route and will continue to do so as it appeals to a select few.The car is expected to land in India, sometime  next year. Expect the facelifted, 2015 CLS coupe to be priced around the Rs. 1 crore mark.
