Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya gifts Jeep Compass to dad

The rising star in the Indian team – Hardik Pandya recently made it to the headlines after scoring a stunning maiden century against Sri Lanka in a test match series. The cricketer is now on break before he goes back to limited-over series against Sri Lanka soon. In the meantime, he gifted a new vehicle to his father.

The all-rounder surprised his father with a Jeep Compass and posted the emotional reaction of his dad on social media. In a series of tweets, Pandya said that his father deserves all the happiness in the world and the credit to his success goes to his dad. In the video, Pandya asked his father in a Jeep showroom if he likes the Compass. His father showed his appreciation of the SUV, Pandya broke the news – that the car was for his father.

Hardik Pandya used Twitter to write,

“So glad to see his face lit up like that. Yes this is the guy who should get all the happiness in life & deserves the credit, my dad! He was the one who left everything what he had for me & @krunalpandya_official and which takes a lot of courage to do.”

“Only for our careers and I can’t thank him enough for all he has done. So that’s a small surprise for him which made me cry. Family is life and special mention to my brother @vibsnasir for getting this done when I was not around. Love to all”

The Jeep Compass is the latest SUV launched in India. It is the cheapest Jeep, and the market has appreciated the pricing of the new vehicle. The Compass has been launched in ten variants in India. It is available with both petrol and diesel engines. The petrol range starts from Rs. 14.95 lakh and goes till Rs. 19.40 lakh. The diesel range starts from Rs. 15.45 lakh and goes till Rs. 20.65 lakh. All prices ex-showroom, Delhi.
