Rishabh Pant was in the news last year for a horrific road accident. The young cricketer crashed his Mercedes-Benz GLE 43 AMG SUV while driving home from Delhi. The cricketer has been recovering from his injuries since then and had not participated in any games. It looks like Rishabh Pant has finally recovered, and he is also on the T20 World Cup team this year. Recently, the player was spotted at Mumbai airport in his brand-new SUV. The cricketer had bought a new Land Rover Defender 110 SUV.

The cricketer bought the SUV in a white shade. The Defender is a rugged-looking SUV with a lot of history.

It is an iconic SUV that is extremely popular among off-road enthusiasts. The new generation Defender has actually caught buyers’ attention around the world for its looks and features. The Defender is still an extremely capable SUV. However, it is loved because it can do all this without compromising the comfort of the occupants.

The price for a brand-new Land Rover Defender starts at Rs 97 lakh, ex-showroom, and goes up to Rs 2.35 crore. We do not know whether Rishabh went for the petrol or diesel engine option. The Land Rover Defender is available with 2.0-liter and 3.0-liter petrol engines, as well as a 3.0-liter diesel engine.

Last year, the manufacturer also introduced a 5.0-liter V8 petrol engine option for both the Defender 110 and 90 versions. All these engine choices come with an automatic transmission as standard. The vehicle features a permanent 4WD system with a locking center differential and active rear-locking differentials.

Other than Rishabh Pant, Indian cricketer KL Rahul was also spotted in a Defender 110. However, it doesn’t look like the SUV is owned by the cricketer. The black-colored Defender is actually owned by Ahan Shetty, Suniel Shetty’s son.

This makes Rishabh Pant the first Indian cricketer to own this iconic SUV.
