Parents surprising their kid with a gift on their birthday is not a new thing. However, we have lately been seeing a trend where the definition of a gift has changed. We are seeing parents opting for expensive things that their kid wants. Well, here we have a video where a dad took things to the next level. The Indian dad gifted his son a brand-new Lamborghini Huracan STO on his 18th birthday.

The video has been shared by Tarush Rungta on his Instagram page. The kid recently turned 18, and it looks like he is a huge fan of Lamborghinis. His father, Vivek Kumar Rungta, who is a businessman, decided to gift him a brand-new Lamborghini. Not just any Lamborghini, but a Huracan STO.

In this video, we see Tarush and his father Vivek entering a Lamborghini dealership in the UAE. They visited the dealership with other family members. It looks like all the paperwork was already taken care of, and the only thing remaining was the unveiling. Tarush and the other family members look extremely excited about the new car.

The video has been posted on social media with a caption, “Overflowing love and gratitude to my amazing DAD @vivekkumarrungta for making my 18th birthday beyond magical with the gift of my dream car! Your love and support mean everything to me.” Many of the followers and social media users have also congratulated him on his new purchase.

Lamborghini Huracan STO

Lamborghini officially sells the Huracan STO in the Indian market, and the supercar has already found a couple of buyers in the country. It was officially launched in the Indian market in 2021. What makes the STO different from the regular Huracan is its performance.

The Huracan STO is based on the Super Trofeo Evo race car, which has undergone modifications to become road legal. This makes it the fastest version of the Lamborghini Huracan.

In India, the ex-showroom price of the Huracan STO is around Rs 4.99 crore, ex-showroom. Similar to all other Huracans, the STO is powered by a massive 5.2-litre V10 engine. Although Lamborghini has not altered the engine output, the naturally aspirated engine still delivers a maximum power of 640 PS and a peak torque of 565 Nm, compared to the 600 Nm offered by the Performante. However, the STO is a rear-wheel-drive car, unlike the Performante, which was an AWD vehicle.

Lamborghini has updated the LDVI (Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata) of the car that manages all the drive systems and the rear-wheel steering. The STO-specific drive modes are also available with the car.

The car has adaptive dampers to ensure that it provides a comfortable ride on the streets. Furthermore, Lamborghini offers an optional nose lift function with the Huracan STO to help navigate over bumps and speed bumps. This is a handy feature for Indian roads, but we are not sure whether one would use this feature abroad.

In India, we have Boopesh Reddy, better known by the name Bren Garage, who owns a Lamborghini STO. In fact, he was the first owner of the Huracan STO in India. He also became the first customer for Ferrari’s first practical 4-door SUV, Purosangue.
