The world leaders have gathered in Bali, Indonesia to attend the G20 Summit 2022, which is being attended by the top leaders of all the 20 participant countries. India’s Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi is attending the participant, and he was seen arriving at Taman Hutan Raya Ngurah Rai, a mangrove forest in Bali, in a Genesis Electrified G80 on the second day of the event.
The prime minister was spotted attending the event, where the G20 leaders toured the Mangrove forest and also planted trees along with the other world leaders who are participating in the summit.
He arrived at the venue chauffeured in a Genesis Electrified G80, the flagship all-electric sedan from Hyundai’s luxury brand Genesis. The Electrified G80, finished in an authoritative shade of black, was seen escorted by a Hyundai Ioniq 5, which was awarded International car of the year in 2022.

Hyundai Genesis Electrified
The Electrified G80 is Genesis’ first attempt at making an all-electric car for the elite masses. Based on the regular G80 flagship sedan, the Electrified G80 is powered by a dual motor setup, with 136 kW motors mounted on the front and rear axles. The combined power and torque outputs of this dual motor setup are rated at 370 PS and 700 Nm respectively. It also comes with an 87.2 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which claims a maximum range of 520 km.
The Genesis Electrified G80 is loaded with premium features inside out. On the outside, the sedan features a closed front grille, all-LED headlamps and tail lamps, solar window panels and 19-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels. The cabin of the Electrified G80 is equipped with top-class equipment, the list of which includes an 8-inch TFT instrument console, ambient lighting, a touch-controlled panel for multi-zone climate control, a 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 17-speaker Lexicon audio system, 12-way power-adjustable front seats with heating and ventilation functions, heated steering wheel and rear seats and more.
Hyundai is yet to bring its luxury brand Genesis to India, however, a few offerings of the Genesis were spotted being driven on Indian roads. It is said that these Genesis cars are being used by the top officials of Hyundai in India as their daily commute. A few months ago, there were rumours that Hyundai is contemplating bringing the Genesis brand to Indian shores. However, Hyundai hasn’t made any official confirmation on these rumours yet. For now, Hyundai is all set to launch the highly-acclaimed Ioniq 5 all-electric crossover in the Indian market, which is expected to make its debut in India at the 2023 Auto Expo in January.
