India is a fast growing market and one that a lot of companies have their eyes on. There is also no shortage of money in our country, which goes to show in the cars that are bought by people, even though they are taxed so extensively. Here are 10 such rare exotics:
Porsche 911 GT3 RS
This one happens to be India’s only GT3RS. It is located in Bangalore. What makes this so special is the fact that this is the closest that the 911 road car range gets to their race cars. It has a lot of things that help save weight.
These include a magnesium roof, carbon fibre wing and bonnet and stripped out interiors. Power comes from a 4.0 liter 6 cylinder engine that makes 493 Bhp and 460 Nm. This one also gets rear wheel steering.
Lamborghini Gallardo STS
The STS stands for Super Trofeo Stradale. This is the most extreme Gallardo ever made by the company and was based on the Blackpain Super Trofeo race car. This one featured here is one of 150 and the only one in the country and has found itself a garage in Mumbai. It comes with carbon composite spoiler and hood and a lot of carbon fibre and aluminium used in the body shell. It has a top speed of 320 kmph and does the 0-100 dash in 3.4 seconds. Power comes from the same 5.2 liter V10 on the Gallardo, however it now produces 562 Bhp and 540 Nm.
Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster
Again, the SV is a limited edition vehicle from Lamborghini. The company made only 500 coupe and 500 Roadster versions, of which one of each made it to India. This one made its way to Bangalore too. The SV or Super Veloce as it stands for is a more light weight version of the Aventador. It is close to 50 kgs lighter than the normal Aventador Roadster and is more powerful by 50 hp. The 2 part roof is made up of carbon fibre too to make sure weight is kept as low as possible. Power comes from a 6.5 liter V12 that produces 740 Bhp and 690 Nm.
Ferrari 458 Speciale Aperta
The Speciale was the last and the most special version of the 458 to bid goodbye to the model. The Aperta is the drop top version of this special edition. The Aperta is limited to 499 units worldwide and this is the only one that made its way to the country. Power comes from a 4.5 liter V8 which produces 597 Bhp and 540 Nm. What makes the Speciale different to look at is the stripes down the center. This one too is a more light weight version of the normal 458 Spider.
Aston Martin N430
The N430 has been inspired by Aston’s racing pedigree. It is among the most hardcore version based on the Vantage V8 ever made. Similar to the GT4 car, it has the colour contransting grill, mirror casing, rear diffuser and roofline. This one is the only one in the country. Power comes from a 4.7 liter V8 that produces 430 Bhp and 489 Nm. The car wasn’t a limited production car and yet, we only got one.
