India’s Best Modified Cars – 10th Edition

Over the last year, we have been rounding up the best modified cars in the country. Here is the 10th edition of the ongoing series of India’s best modified cars.

Honda Civic

The Honda Civic has always been a mod friendly car with quite a few nice examples. Here is another great looking one. The car has a Mugen body kit that makes it look really sporty. The kit includes new bumper and new large spoiler and a new grill that look dashing. The headlamps have also been changed and are now aftermarket angel eye ones.

The owner has also opted for a carbon fibre bonnet which looks really nice when seen from close by. The vehicle sits on 18″ aftermarket rims and has been lowered courtesy a Bilstein B14 suspension. There is a custom Nitto exhaust system on it too.

VW Polo

The Polo is an elegant car. Ever since the GT twins have come, a lot of modified examples of the Polo have been coming up. Some of them really nice to look at. This is one of them.

The Polo has a custom made body kit by PDS. The body kit includes new front bumper and skirting. Aftermarket projector headlamps have been added that have a red shade and looks really mean and aggressive. We forgot to mention that this is a GT TSi.

Under the hood, the car features a custom remap and a Forge BOV to manage the boost. The car has been lowered with the help of KW Street Custom suspension and the vehicle now sits on 17″ TSW rims which look really nice.

Hyundai i20

The Hyundai Elite i20 is a vehicle that isn’t modified much. There are very few examples of modified Elite i20’s. Here is a nicely done up one.

The car features a custom body kit which includes an aggressive front splitter and side skirts. At the back, there is a new bumper with a diffuser having dual exhaust tips. The vehicle now gets smoked out head lamps along with an aftermarket projector setup. The car has been lowered quite a bit and sits of 17″ rims. The lowering certainly adds a lot of visual appeal to the vehicle.

Toyota Fortuner

The Fortuner is a car that most people love. The rugged looks, the macho stance and the Toyota reliability was a near perfect combination. Here is an all black Fortuner which looks really nice.

The owner has opted for the TRD headlamps which have a clear lens. The whole car has a TRD body kit as well. There is a Thule cross bar on top and it now sports Prestige Design rims. Under the hood, the owner has opted for a Spider Performance Tuning box. The suspension has been changed to Tien unit as well.

Maruti Swift

Since the Swift is India’s most loved mod car, it would not good to do a modified story without having a nice looking Swift in it.

This vehicle now gets a new RS body kit with a new bumper. extended wheel arches, new aftermarket projector headlamps, new LED tail lamp cluster, new rear bumper with diffuser and side skirts. There are auxiliary lamps up front as well.

Under the hood, the owner has got a Race Dynamics tuning box instead of a remap. He has also added in a BMC intake. The vehicle has also been lowered with the help of Triple S lowering springs and the vehicle now sits on 17″ concave alloys.
