This is the 10th edition of India’s best modified cars. As the title suggests, we’re bringing you the best modified cars that India has to offer. Here we go.
Modster’s Skoda Rapid Goldfinger Custom

Modster’s of Chennai has given this Skoda Rapid a complete visual makeover while keeping the stock design of the car nearly untouched. Dubbed the project Goldfinger, this Rapid custom combines clean lines with a top quality paint gold job, revised alloy wheels that also get the gold paint treatment, side skirts, a mesh front grille, rear bumper diffuser, smokers headlamps and tail lamps and finally a boot lid spoiler.
The interiors of this car have been retained without any changes. Under the hood, the only change is a Way2Speed exhaust system.
Mahindra Armada Grand Custom

Jeeps don’t die, they get rebuilt. This is perhaps how this Mahindra Armada has survived for over a decade and a half. Built by Delhi based Team-BHPian who calls himself The.Phantom, this Armada will give modern SUVs a run for their monies when it comes to design. With its clean, uncluttered look, this Armada custom features massive mud terrain tyres that sit on steel offset rims. The mudguards are flared to accommodate the wider rubber. The front and rear bumpers are custom built units. Armed with a custom paint job with a contrast roof finish, and spotting LEDs, this Armada could well be mistaken for a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.
Sarbloh Motors’ Mitsubishi Pajero SFX

The Mitsubishi Pajero SFX is an icon, and messing around with its clean lines isn’t a good thing to do. Keeping this in mind, Sarblog Motors of Punjab has given the Pajero SFX a mild makeover that retain the butch, good looks of the SUV, while adding a dash of off road functionality. This custom Pajero features a body lift, Maxxis Bighorn mud terrain tyres, custom front and rear bumpers, a snorkel, a front nudge bar, custom roof mounted LEDs, HID headlamps and LED fog lamps, and a twin exhaust tip.
Azad 4×4’s Mahindra Thar Hardtop
[Images courtesy Azad 4X4 on Facebook]
The stock Mahindra Thar is a terrific off roader that can hold its own at highway speeds. However, the vehicle may not be the best for family car buyers, who want silent, weather proof cabins. Azad 4X4 is a leading Thar customizer in India, and has been building mild steel hard tops for the Mahindra off roader. This particular example features a beautifully finished mild steel hard top that is integrated to the Thar’s body tub.
Other changes on this custom off roader include negative offset alloy wheels, custom front and rear bumpers, upsized Falken all terrain tyres, a snorkel, a hood scoop, Jeep Wrangler style tail lamps and wing mirrors, wider wheel well flares, LED headlamps, auxiliary lamps, LED indicators, a winch and a custom Jeep Wrangler style grille insert.
Sibin’s Honda City VTEC

This custom Honda City VTEC is stock as far as its mechanicals go, for the 1.5 liter VTEC with over 100 Bhp on tap is more than sufficient for this low slung sedan. What changes on this custom job though is the attention to detail. On the outside, this car features a body kit, a front splitter, orange Lenso CQ4 wheels and a matte wrap for the hood. On the inside, the upholstery is finished in a similar twin tone colour, with red and black being the chosen colour scheme. A Momo steering wheel, a Sparco gear knob and a large autometer dial are the other changes.
