India’s CRAZIEST modified Tata Tigor: This is IT
Tata is one of the leading car maker in Indian market. The manufacturer currently has only one sedan in its segment. The car is Tigor and it is a compact sedan that competes with cars like Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Xcent, Honda Amaze and Hyundai Aura in the segment. It is a regular compact sedan with decent amount of features on offer. Tata did introduce a performance version of the Tigor known as Tigor JTP but, it did not do well and was later discontinued. We have seen several examples of modified Tata Tigor’s in India and here we have one of the craziest looking modified Tigor sedan in the country.
The video has been uploaded by Vinay Kapoor on his YouTube channel. The video shows how the car looked when it came to the workshop and also the car after all those modifications. The car came in white shade from the factory and the owner was looking for something of the same shade.
Several modifications were done on the sedan to give it a sporty or unique look. Starting with the front, the bumper was removed and then customised to make it look a lot more sportier. The front bumper now comes with a large lower grille with mesh design in it. The stock fog lamps are retained and all the chrome on the car has been removed. All the chrome bits on this Tigor were blacked out to go well with the overall theme of the car.
Coming down the, front bumper gets bumper lip kit which has been made by the vlogger’s garage inhouse. The bumper also gets couple of air vents on either sides to make it look a lot more sporty. The gloss black grille at the front is now finished in white and a set of custom made LED DRLS are also integrated in it. The car gets red pinstriping all across the car and the headlights get eye lids with red accents in it.
The bonnet remains the same but, a small portion gets a black wrap on it. Coming to the side profile, the stock alloy wheels on Tigor sedan have been retained however they are painted in gloss black finish and the calipers get a red shade. Other than this, a side skirt which is part of the bumper lip kit installed at the front is also seen here.
The roof on this Tata Tigor has been wrapped in black and the roof mounted spoiler get a white shade. The shark fin antenna has been retained and the the LED high mounted stop lamp on rear windshield is also retained. At the rear, the chrome strip on the boot has been blacked out including Tata logo and Tigor branding. Just like the front bumper, rear bumper has also been customised. It is a dual tone bumper with an LED tail lamps installed at the bottom.
Twin exhaust tips have also been installed on this car to give it the sporty character. These are faux exhaust tip and do not have a sporty note. Other than this, the interiors get blue coloured ambient lighting as well well. Overall, the work done on this Tata Tigor looks good. It is one of craziest looking Tigor but, is it the best looking?
