Kodiaq is Skoda Auto India’s flagship SUV in the market. It is a proper three row, seven-seater SUV which competes with SUVs like Jeep Meridian, Citroen C5 Aircross and the Volkswagen Tiguan. It is without any doubt one of the sharpest looking 7-seater SUV in its segment and like many other Skoda cars available in the market, it offers a long list of features with it. Skoda Kodiaq is a fun to drive SUV and it has several modification potential. Here we have a stage 1 modified Skoda Kodiaq Sportline SUV that can do 0-100 kmph sprint in just 8 seconds.
The video has been uploaded by Pratham Shokeen on his YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger introduces a 2022 model Skoda Kodiaq SUV Sportline variant in Nardo Grey colour. The SUV looks extremely good in this shade and Skoda offers this colour from factory. The owner of this SUV has done many changes to the SUV to enhance its performance and also the capabilities while off-roading. Skoda Kodiaq is a proper 4×4 SUV and can do fair bit of off-roading. It is not designed for hardcore off-roading sessions like Mahindra Thar or other SUVs.

Talking about the cosmetic changes, the owner has smoked the tail lamps to achieve an even look from the rear. As this is the Sportline variant, there is no chrome on the car and all the panels that were usually chrome are blacked out. The Skoda badge on the tail gate, front grille, are gloss black from factory. As the variant name suggests, the car looks sporty and premium. Other than these cosmetic changes, the car also gets some other modifications on the outside. When compared to a stock Skoda Kodiaq, this one is sitting slightly higher. That is because it is now sitting on Pro lift kit from Eibach. With this set up, the Kodiaq now gets up to 30 mm more ground clearance than stock.
The stock alloy wheels on this Skoda Kodiaq have been replaced with aftermarket units. The Nardo Grey shade and the alloy wheels are going well with the overall look of the car. The vlogger then sits in and starts tallking about other modifications. He mentions that the stock instrument cluster on this SUV has been swapped with a unit from a Skoda Octavia vRS. It is much more performance oriented system. Other modifications include a performance air intake and a stage 1 remap. The TCU on this SUV get Stage 2+ kit.
Skoda Kodiaq is available with a petrol engine only. It is powered by a 2.0 litre turbocharged petrol engine that generates 190 Ps and 320 Nm of peak torque in stock form. The car is mated to a 7-speed DSG transmission. After the stage 1 remap, the power figures have bumped up and it now generates 250 Bhp and around 400 Nm of peak torque. This is quite brilliant for a 7-seater SUV. The car gets launch control as well and in the vlogger is really impressed with the overall performance of this 7-seater SUV. It did 0-100 kmph sprint in just 8 seconds on normal road but, we feel it can perform even better if it is on a track. This is probably India’s fastest Skoda Kodiaq SUV.
