Hyundai Creta is one of the most popular mid-size SUV sold in India. It competes with cars like Kia Seltos, MG Hector, Tata Harrier in the segment. Hyundai last year launched the all-new generation Creta in the market and just like the older generation, the new one also became quickly popular among buyers. In a very short span of time, we have seen several modified examples of Hyundai Creta SUVs in the market. A lot of aftermarket accessories are also available for Creta as well. Most common type of modification that we have seen so far is converting a base E trim Creta to top-end by replacing Hyundai genuine accessories. Here we have another base E trim Creta that has been completely modified into a top-end Creta. It is probably the first Creta in India to come with an automatic tailgate as well.
The video has been uploaded by VIG AUTO ACCESSORIES on their youtube channel. They have done several modification projects on Creta in the past but, this one is different from them. They have installed aftermarket automatic tailgate opener system in this Creta. The Creta seen in the video is again a base E trim SUV with several modifications in place to make it look like a top-end E trim SUV. The main modification on the car is the automatic tail gate opening system.

After installing this system, the tail gate can be opened and closed using the key fob. There is a button on the boot which can be used to close the boot. They have also installed a switch next to the steering which can be pressed to open and close the boot. The fit and finish of the work looks very fine and the system works smoothly too. Moving to the front, the grille on the E trim has been replaced with a top-end trim unit. The single projector headlamp on the base trim has been replaced with tri-beam projector LED headlamps. The base variant Creta does not offer fog lamps. VIG Auto Accessories installed genuine Hyundai fog lamps with LED lamps in it. The fog lamps have dedicated switches too.
Moving to the side profile, the Creta gets 17 inch multi spoke alloy wheel that is seen in the higher variants. The ORVMs get matrix type turn indicators inside the mirror and the owner has also installed rain visors and roof rails. At the rear, the tail lamp has been replace with higher trim LED unit. Both front and rear bumper are installed with an aftermarket bumper protector.
On the inside, owner has installed a ambient lighting, illuminated scuff plates, steering mounted audio controls and so on. The upholstery has been changed too. It now gets a black and red upholstery and there is soft leather stitching on the steering wheel as well. Hyundai Creta is available with multiple engine and transmission option. There is a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol with CVT and manual gearbox option, there is a 1.5 litre diesel engine with manual and automatic options. There is a 1.4 litre turbo petrol engine that is available with a 7-speed DCT gearbox option only.
