The 2022 All-new Mahindra Scorpio N gets the dual tone roof wrap; The Vinyl wrap seems to be enhancing the road presence of the ‘Big Daddy of SUVs’; Deliveries of the iconic SUV have already commenced from 26th September.
With the commencement of deliveries of Mahindra Scorpio N, we are coming across various kinds of modifications undertaken by the owners. This time around the ‘Big Daddy of SUVs’ gets India’s first ever dual tone roof wrap. The customization is done by ‘vwrapssikar’ and the update was posted by the Sikar, Rajasthan-based company on its Instagram handle.

Mahindra Scorpio N: India’s First Dual Tone Roof Wrap
In the latest round of modification on the Mahindra Scorpio N, the SUV has been wrapped in a dual-tone finish. The original paint scheme of the vehicle is Everest White and the roof is also sports the same finish. For reference, Mahindra doesn’t offer a dual-tone paint scheme from the factory. In this modification, the roof including A, B and C pillars has been Vinyl wrapped in black colour.
Along with this, the ORVMs and rear spoiler are also wrapped in black colour. The SUV in the pictures is a Z8L manual 4X2 variant, evident by the 17-inch alloy wheels and the missing 4Xplore badging. In terms of appearance, the four-wheeler looks quite stylish and the wrap has definitely upped its road presence. Apart from the wrap, we don’t see any major modifications to the new SUV.
Mahindra Scorpio N: Details
The price range of Scorpio N starts from Rs. 11.99 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs. 23.90 lakh (ex-showroom). In terms of powertrain, the SUV is powered by a 2.2 litre mHawk Diesel engine, belting out 175 bhp of maximum power. The 6-speed manual gearbox option gets 370 Nm of peak torque while the 6-speed torque converter comes with 400 Nm of peak torque. The gasoline powerhouse of the Scorpio N is a 2.0-litre TGDi (Turbo Petrol Direct Injection) mStallion engine paired with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic. The power output is rated at 200 bhp and 370 (MT), 380 (AT) Nm of peak torque. The Scorpio N is the only SUV in its segment which comes with ladder frame construction and proper 4X4 capabilities.
Mahindra offers the Scorpio N in a total of 5 variants i.e. Z2, Z4, Z6, Z8 and Z8L. The 7 colour choices of the ‘Big Daddy of SUVs’ include Everest White, Royal Gold, Deep Forest Dazzling Silver, Red Rage, Grand Canyon and Napoli Black.
The Scorpio N comes kitted with some top-class tech features such as 6 way adjustable powered driver’s seat, electric sunroof, Dual Zone climate control system, AdrenoX connect and Alexa built-in What3Word feature, in-built navigation, touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, Sony 3D 12 speaker sound system with dual channel sub-woofer and more.
The ladder frame SUV takes on the likes of Tata Safari, Toyota Innova Crysta, Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector Plus and its own sibling Mahindra XUV700 in the segment.
