Hyundai India launched the all-new generation i20 hatchback in the market recently. It is a premium hatchback that competes with the likes of Maruti Baleno, Tata Altroz, Volkswagen Polo and Honda Jazz in the segment. It is an all-new vehicle and is based on an all-new platform and offers a lot more in terms of features. Hyundai has already started the delivery of new i20 and aftermarket accessories have also started arriving in the market. Here we have one such video that shows an all-new i20 with a rear seat entertainment pack.
The video has been uploaded by Musafir Aka Joshi on their youtube channel. The video starts by showing the car from outside. There are no changes made to the car from the outside. It is a turbo petrol version and comes with features like 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment screen, digital instrument cluster, multi function steering wheel, ambient lighting, Bose music system and so on. The owner of this vehicle in particular had gone for an aftermarket rear seat entertainment screen.

There are two screens installed on the rear of the driver and co-driver seats. The aftermarket units that are installed for rear passengers are also 10.25 inch units and the wires are nicely tucked inside the car. The touchscreen unit itself looks of good quality and is customisable with Hyundai logo when it is turned on. there is an ambient lighting behind the screen and it is connected to i20’s factory fitted audio system.
The video quality of the screens were pretty good and it can be connected to internet using mobile hotspot. There is an HDMI option too which allows both screens to share same content on screen at the same time. Like any other Hyundai vehicles, i20 is also feature loaded. Top-end trim of this premium hatchback even comes with an electric sunroof.
Hyundai i20 is available with three engine options. There is a 1.2 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that comes with a manual and CVT gearbox options. The 1.5 litre turbocharged diesel engine comes with a manual gearbox option only. This is also the most fuel efficient car in this segment. The third engine option is the 1.0 litre, three cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that generates 120 Ps and 172 Nm of torque. This engine is available with a 7-speed DCT and iMT gearbox options. Price for all-new i20 starts at Rs 6.8 lakh, ex-showroom.
