Tata launched Punch micro SUV in the market recently and delivery for the same has also started. Punch is currently the safest car one can buy in India as it scored highest in occupants and child safety safety ratings in Global NCAP crash tests. Just like any other Tata model, Punch also became popular among buyers for its build quality. Aftermarket accessories have also started arriving in the market for Tata Punch and here we have a video of what looks like India’s first modified Tata Punch with aftermarket accessories.
The video has been uploaded by CAR Muters on their YouTube channel. The video shows how the Tata Punch looked like when it had arrived at the workshop. The variant seen in the video is Adventure which is one above the base Pure variant. It comes with decent number of features like a music system, all four power windows and so on.

In this video, several aftermarket accessories have been installed in the car to give it an upmarket feel. Starting from the outside, the halogen bulbs in the headlights were replaced with LED units. Adventure variant does not come with fog lamps so an aftermarket HID projector unit has also been installed in the SUV.
An LED strip has been installed throughout the width of the car and that acts as a turn indicator as well. Moving to the side profile, everything on the car remains stock. It gets company fitted wheel covers, tail lamps and so on. All the other changes or modifications in this Punch is done on the inside. The seats were completely removed and the floor mats were installed. All the doors get illuminated scuff plates and the speaker setup on this car has also been upgraded.
The stock speakers have been replaced with JBL units. next noticeable changes in the cabin is the door pads. The doors now get tan coloured soft touch material wrapped on it. A similar coloured material is wrapped on the dashboard as well. The steering wheel has been wrapped in leather cover with contrast stitching. The A, B and C Pillars have also been wrapped in tan coloured material.
The seat came with fabric covers. Those were removed and replaced with custom fit dual tone covers. Other than this, the glove box gets a lamp that is activated using a sensor. Ambient lights that can be controlled using a mobile application has also been installed in the car. The music system was replaced with an aftermarket touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay. The screen is floating type and fits perfectly on the dashboard without leaving any gap in between.
Vlogger mentions that none of the wires in the car were cut in order make these modifications. All these lights and other modifications done were plug and play. Tata Punch is available with a 1.2 litre, three cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. The engine generates 86 Ps and 113 Nm of peak torque. The car is available with both manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox option.
