India’s most POWERFUL Ford Fiesta makes 285 Bhp

American car manufacturer Ford has been present in the Indian market for over 25 years and during this period, they have launched  several models here. While some of these models did well some of them did not. It was not because they were bad products, it was just that India as market was not ready for many of their products. One such model was Ford’s Fiesta sedan. It was one of the best looking sedan available in the country during that time. Ford also had launched a sportier looking S version of the Fiesta in the market with a spoiler and a new paint job. The Ford Fiesta 1.6S is a very rare car, seldom seen on our roads. Here we have a car which is probably India’s most powerful Ford Fiesta.

The video has been uploaded by Race Concepts on their youtube channel. The car looks like a well maintained Ford Fiesta sedan from outside. The 1.6S version of Fiesta was different from regular Fiesta. It got a body kit and was available with better suspension set up. Technicians at Race concepts have done nothing to the exterior of the car except for this blue paint job.

All the modifications made to the car is actually under the hood. The complete engine of this sedan was rebuilt. It is still the 1600-cc engine but it generates a lot more power than the stock version. Another modification is the addition of a turbocharger. As mentioned earlier, it is a completely built engine and it gets RC (Race Concepts) forged Pistons, RC forged connecting rods, Stage 4 cylinder head upgrade with revised flow geometry, ARP Rod and Main Bolts , Garrett GT28 ball bearing Turbo upgrade, Turbo external wastegate, stainless steel turbo header, RC stainless steel induction pipes, Sard Intercooler, External blow off valve.

Other than these modifications, it also gets Fuel Injectors from Injector Dynamics, RC intake manifold with larger throttle body with manual throttle, Silicon hoses and joints, manual boost control, Race Dynamics 1401 turbo ECU upgrade, Autometer Ford racing tachometer, AEM wideband sensor kit, AEM boost gauge, revised AC wiring, Stage 4 black diamond clutch, lightened flywheel and so on.

The bonnet gets custom vents and it also gets 16 inch Team Dynamic Motorsport rims with Michelin rubber wrapped around it. With all these modifications in place, Ford Fiesta now generates a 285 hp at crank. Some of the power is lost by the time it reaches the wheels. It generates 247 Hp and can revv upto 7,100 rpm. As the Fiesta is generating almost 2.5 times more power than the stock version, RC had to make some changes at the braking department as well. It now gets K-Sport 6 piston calipers with 300 mm ventilated rotors. The suspension setup in the Fiesta had to be modified too. It now comes with Race concepts coilovers with multiway adjustments.

The video posted above also shows how, the car sounds after all these modifications. It has a sporty exhaust note and the sound from blow off valve is also heard in the video. The Ford Fiesta 1.6S turbo petrol is fast and does 0-100 kmph sprint in just 6 seconds. It is a sleeper car and is absolutely one of the coolest car modification that we have seen in a very long time.
