2021 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross BS6: New TVC released

Isuzu Motors India, recently launched the updated BS6 version of their popular lifestyle pickup truck D-Max V-Cross in the market. This model along with others were discontinued from the market last year as they were not BS6 compliant. The Japanese car manufacturer has now launched D-Max V-Cross, Hi-Lander and the MU-X SUV in the market.

The price for V-Cross BS6 version now starts at Rs 19.98 lakh, ex-showroom and goes up to Rs 24.49 lakh, ex-showroom. Isuzu has now released a new TVC for the BS6 version V-Cross that shows all the changes or updates made to the SUV.

The video has been shared by Isuzu Motors India on their official YouTube channel. Isuzu is the only brand that has managed to sell a lifestyle pickup truck in the market successfully. Several Indian manufacturers like Mahindra and Tata have tried and failed in this segment earlier. Isuzu V-Cross is a popular pickup truck among those who love the outdoors. The TVS also stresses on the same point. The video shows how practical this pickup truck actually is.

It can seat upto 5 passengers in cabin and also offers a large loading bay at the rear for luggage. In terms of design, we did not get the mew version that was launched in the international market last year. We have received the same version that was already on sale. Earlier the V-Cross was available with two engine options. The 2.5 litre turbocharged diesel engine has been discontinued and it now comes with a 1.9 litre turbocharged diesel engine only.

2021 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross BS6: New TVC released

The V-Cross is available in two variants only. There is a Z and Z Prestige variant. The Z variant offers projector LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, LED tail lamps, roof rails, Passive Entry and Start System, 6-way adjustable driver seat, 18 inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, rear defogger, rear parking sensors and camera.

The Z Prestige variant of the V-Cross will be offered with additional features like 6 airbags, hill descent control, hill start assist, stability control, traction control, anti-pinch windows, electrically adjustable driver seat, roof mounted speakers, fog lamps, cruise control, shift on the fly 4WD and so on.

Isuzu V-Cross as mentioned above is now powered by a 1.9 litre turbocharged diesel engine. The engine now generates a maximum of 163 Ps and 360 Nm of peak torque. In comparison to the BS4 version, it now generates 13 Ps more power and 10 Nm more torque. The Z version of V-Cross is priced at Rs 19.98 lakh, ex-showroom and the Z Prestige variant is priced at Rs 24.49 lakh, ex-showroom. The V-Cross is available with both manual and automatic gearbox option depending upon the variant you choose.

Apart these two variants, Isuzu has also introduced an affordable version of V-Cross SUV in the market. It is known as the Hi-Lander and is priced at Rs 16.98 lakh, ex-showroom. It is available in S-Cab and D-Max versions. The D-Max is 2-door version whereas the S-Cab has four doors. It get features like AC, power window, steel rims, parking sensors, central locking system and so on. Unlike the V-Cross, Hi-Lander is only available with a 2WD system.
