We have seen in the past that firms gift employees cars as a reward for their loyalty. Here, is another incident in which an IT firm from Chennai, called Ideas2IT gifted Maruti Suzuki’s cars to its employees for their loyalty. They gifted 100 cars to 100 employees. Moreover, some employees got gold coins and iPhones.
In the pictures, we can see employees accepting Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Ignis, Swift, Ciaz, Ertiga, XL6 and even Vitara Brezza. Reportedly, the firm spent Rs. 15 Crores on these gifts. The Chief Executive Officer of Ideas2IT, Gayathri Vivekanandan was also present at the event. He said, “Considering this steady growth streak enabled by its employees, Ideas2IT has implemented a unique wealth-sharing initiative. Awarding these cars is just the first step. Ideas2IT plans to roll out more such initiatives in the near future,”
Overwhelmed by the firm’s initiative an employee said, “It’s always great to receive gifts from the organization; on every occasion, the company shares its happiness with gifts like gold coins, iPhones. Car is a very big thing for us,”
Not the first incident
We recently covered another incident that was similar to this one. The CEO of a firm called Kissflow gifted BMW cars to his employees. 5 employees were gifted BMW 530d sedans which are worth Rs. 80 lakhs each. The name of the CEO is Suresh Sambandam and he said that these five employees stayed with the company through its ups and downs. These cars are small tokens of appreciation for these employees. He said that he could not have thought of a better gift than a luxury car and he also currently uses a three-year-old BMW 6 Series.
In February, a Kerala businessman gifted a Mercedes-Benz SUV to his employee. The name of the businessman is AK Shaji, he gifted a Mercedes-Benz GLA to CR Anish for his loyalty towards the organization. Reportedly, Anish has been working for the organization for the past 22 years.
A cake ceremony was also done on the occasion. AK Shaji also shared the pictures and a message on Instagram. He wrote, “Dear Ani… For the last 22 years you are there for me as a strong pillar. Hope you loved your new cruising partner.” He also said that he considers Anish a partner and not an employee. Two years ago, Shaji gifted 6 cars to his employees. He understands the importance of employees staying happy in the organization because of which he does such things.
In 2018, a Surat-based diamond merchant gifted thousands of cars to his employees. The name of the merchant is Savji Dholakia and he is known for his exorbitant gifts. He has gifted around 500 Fiat Puntos, 1,260 cars of Maruti Suzuki, and 1,200 units of Datsun redi-GO. He gifted 3 Mercedes-Benz GLS 350d SUVs to employees who have completed 25 years with the organization.
