Jawa Perak deliveries commence in India: In images

Jawa motorcycles last year as part of their first year anniversary had officially launched Jawa Perak. It is India’s first ever factory custom bobber and does not have any other brand as direct competition in this price bracket. All the other alternatives of Perak are way more expensive than it. Jawa had started accepting bookings for Perak in January 2020 and was supposed to start delivering the motorcycles by 2nd of April 2020. Unfortunately due to the lockdown and pandemic situation, delivery dates got delayed and now Jawa has officially started delivering the Perak to customers in different part of the country.

Jawa motorcycle have shared images of customers taking delivery from different parts of the country on their official Instagram page. The Perak is a very unique looking motorcycle in the segment. It gets a low slung suspended seat, wide handle bar, all black paint on the bike with golden accents on fuel tank and side panel, chopped off exhaust that produces a grunty exhaust note and so on. Overall, the Perak is a good looking motorcycle.

Jawa had announced earlier that they will start delivering Perak motorcycles to its customers via dealerships across the country from 20th July 2020 and this time with no further delay they have delivered Perak custom bobber to its customers. Jawa Perak is powered by a 334-cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled, fuel injected, DOHC engine, that generates 30.64 Ps and 32.74 Nm of torque. It comes with a BS6 compliant engine and is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The motorcycle is the flagship offering from Classic Legends and sits above the Jawa 42 and Classic in terms of positioning. It’s also the most powerful offering from the retro motorcycle brand.

Jawa is even offering special schemes or offers to those who plan to buy Perak during these times. They are offering schemes like 50% off on first 3 EMIs, Special EMI plan @ Rs. 6,666/month, EMI plans as low as Rs. 8,000 @ 2years and Rs. 6,000 @ 3years and 100% funding, Zero down payment, No income proof required (T&C apply).

Classic Legends launched the Jawa range of tetro motorcycles back in 2018 and ever these motorcycles quickly gained popularity among customers. The Jawa and Jawa 42 were the first two products from the brand and these had a long waiting period of almost 6 months. The Perak is priced at Rs 1.94 lakh, ex-showroom.
