The hastag #JCB ki Khudai is one of the most trending topics in India right now. It became popular after a Twitter user shared a screenshot showing millions of views on several Youtube video of JCB at its work. Ever since then, social media has been abuzz with memes and jokes around #JCB ki khudai. While you may have seen several parody videos and memes about the JCB machines till now, it’s now time to watch a JCB bulldozer on a rescue mission. The video below by The Black Buck shows a JCB 3DX earth mover rescuing a Mahindra Scorpio SUV that is badly stuck.
As seen in the video, a Mahindra Scorpio is stuck badly in what appears to be a river. According to the video publisher, it is the Kaligandaki River in Kagbeni, Mustang. It seems like the tires have been jammed by an obstacle in the river bad and therefore the SUV is unable to move. In comes our boy JCB from the #JCBkikhudai gang and gets in the river waters to help the Scorpio out. The JCB used to rescue the Scorpio in this video is the 3DX backhoe loader, which is the most popular JCB machine in India. Commonly referred to as bulldozer, the backhoe loader by JCB has become their signature product in India and is mainly responsible for making the JCB name synonymous with a bulldozer.
Coming to the rescue part, a strong cable is tied to the Scorpio’s rear end in a loop and then this loop is attached to the backhoe of the bulldozer. Though the Scorpio is a well-sized SUV with good road presence, it looks like a puny car in the presence of the JCB 3DX. With its sheer power, the bulldozer easily pulls out the Mahindra SUV from its perils and brings it back to safety. It then further pulls the SUV farther away from the river. Now why and how the Scorpio got stuck in this unwanted place is not known but the JCB saved the day for the guys in the SUV.
It is likely that the owner of this Mahindra Scorpio was trying to do some off-roading which didn’t turn out to be a good idea. Though the Scorpio is a fairly capable vehicle, water wading is something that needs to be done cautiously. In the case of crossing a river or a stream as in the video here, one must be even more careful. this is because one may not know what lies on the river bed or how’s the terrain there. Experienced off-road drivers, therefore, go very slowly over uncharted waters in order to judge the surface beneath them. The hero of the story here, though, is the JCB 3DX backhoe loader or just the JCB Bulldozer as it is known.
