The Lamborghini Aventador is a very special car and indeed a rare sight on Indian roads. While some people are lucky enough to spot one moving on the roads, those who drive it are the more fortunate ones. One such high-profile owner of the Lamborghini Aventador in India is Kollywood actor Darshan Thoogudeepa.
Recently, Darshan was spotted outside Hotel Sheraton in Bengaluru, where he was greeted by a lot of his fans. After clicking pictures with his fans, Darshan moved towards his Lamborghini Aventador parked outside the main door of the hotel. A video of this whole scenario is available on YouTube on the channel Spotter India, in which Darshan is seen sitting inside his Lamborghini Aventador and driving it on the roads of Bengaluru after leaving the hotel.
The Lamborghini Aventador owned by Darshan Thoogudeepa is in a shade of grey, which goes well with the sinister look of the supercar. However, the grey colour you see on this Aventador is not its original colour from the factory, as the car was originally painted in white. However, Darshan gave a makeover to his Aventador by repainting it in this new shade of grey.
Owns a Lamborghini Urus too
The Aventador is not the only Lamborghini owned by Darshan Thoogudeepa, as the Kannada actor also owns a yellow-coloured Urus SUV. It has a 4.0-litre-turbocharged V8 petrol engine that can churn a maximum of 641 Bhp of power and a massive 850 Nm of torque. It also comes with an all-wheel-drive system that can help you control the power of all four wheels. It has the potential to do a 0-100 km/h in a mere 3.6 seconds while a 0-200 km/p in just 12.8 seconds. The top speed of the cars however is limited to 305 km/h
Besides these two Lamborghinis, Darshan has several other exclusive cars in his expansive car collection. Other cars in the car collection of Darshan are Land Rover Defender, Land Rover Range Rover Autobiography, Audi Q7, Ford Mustang, Jaguar XK, Toyota Vellfire, Porsche Cayenne, Mini Cooper Countryman, Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Wrangler, BMW 5-Series and a heavily-customized Ford Endeavour.
The Aventador in the car collection of Darshan is the LP 700-4 version of the supercar, which is the very first version of the supercar that was launched in 2012 and soon came to India after that. The Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 was powered by a 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 engine, which is coupled to a 7-speed automatic gearbox and produces 700 PS of maximum power and 690 Nm of maximum torque.
Lamborghini recently pulled the plug on the production of the Aventador, with the Ultimae being the last-ever production version of the supercar. The Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae gets the same 6.5-litre V12 engine, but in a retuned state, which produces 780 PS of maximum power and 720 Nm of maximum torque, making it the most powerful road-legal supercar from Lamborghini ever.
