Kia Seltos facelift in a walk-around video

Kia recently unveiled the updated Seltos facelift, intensifying the competition in the midsize SUV segment. The Seltos was already a popular model, and with these updates, it is set to become an even stronger seller. A walkaround video of the new Kia Seltos facelift showcases all the changes and additions made to the SUV.

MRD Cars uploaded a YouTube video that provides a 360-degree view of the exterior and interior of the Kia Seltos facelift, highlighting the new features and tweaks. The video features the Kia Seltos X-Line, the top-spec variant of the SUV, available only with an automatic transmission and a matte graphite paint scheme.

Starting with the exterior, the new Kia Seltos facelift boasts a bolder front grille, now larger in size. The headlamps have also been revised, featuring new daytime running LEDs that stretch towards the middle of the grille. Additionally, the fog lamps now come with vertical LED lights enclosed in gloss black housings.

The driver’s cockpit retains the three-spoke, multi-functional, flat-bottom, leather-wrapped steering wheel with tilt and telescopic adjustability. A new curved full-TFT cockpit, housing two distinct 10.25-inch screens for the instrument console and touchscreen infotainment system, has been introduced.

The Seltos facelift also features new dual-tone leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, a powered driver’s seat, ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof. The top-spec variant retains previous features such as a head-up display, drive mode controller, aluminium pedals, wireless charger, ventilated front seats, air purifier, and a 360-degree parking camera. In terms of safety, it now comes with six airbags as standard across the range, while the top-spec variants include a full suite of Level-2 ADAS safety features with 17 functions.

The Kia Seltos X-Line offers two powertrain options: a 1.5-liter 115 PS diesel engine with a 7-speed DCT and a new 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine with a 6-speed AT. The rest of the Seltos facelift variant lineup will include the 1.5-liter 115 PS naturally-aspirated petrol engine, along with transmission choices such as a 6-speed manual, CVT, and 6-speed iMT.
