Kia Seltos will be launched in the Indian market on 22nd August. Before that, the South Korean manufacturer has started accepting bookings all across India. Kia has also started shipping the display units and test drive vehicles for the showrooms in India where the prospective customers can come and check out the vehicle thoroughly.
Here is a video by AutoTrend TV that shows the Indian-spec Kia Seltos from all around. The video is from an official Kia Motor India showroom from Coimbatore. The variant seen in the video is the top-of-the-line GT Line variant. the GT Line HTX variant shown here gets a gloss black grille and chrome surround with diamond impressions in it. The diamond pattern reflects the light, which makes the vehicle sparkle all around.
The video also shows the massive headlamps of the Seltos and the Heartbeat shaped Daytime Running Lamps (DRL). There are unique self-designed turn indicators positioned just the headlamps. The Kia Seltos also gets grille-integrated LED lamps that look really good in the dark and makes the vehicle look prominent on the roads. The GT Line variant of the Seltos gets a different set of alloy wheels from the other variants. The 17-inch diamond-cut wheels do look quite good on the Seltos. The Kia Seltos GT Line gets four-disc brakes. At the rear, there is a wide chrome grille with integrated reverse lamp. The tail lamps are also quite big in size.
On the inside, the doors get a combination of hard plastic and soft plastic. The seats of the Kia Seltos GT Line gets a white leather. They are perforated and gets GT Line badging on them. The driver-seat of the Kia Seltos GT Line is electrically powered and can be set-up using the buttons that are positioned on the right-hand side of the seat. Buttons like starter, traction control, HUD display, instrument cluster brightness and the headlamp leveller.
Even the steering wheel of the Kia Seltos GT Line is quite loaded. It gets various buttons that can be used to control the infotainment system, cruise control system, voice commands and phone. It is also leather-wrapped and gets beautiful red stitching. The GT Line gets a black dashboard with both soft and hard plastic. The 10.25-inch floating screen sits in the middle of the dashboard.
The interior mirror gets SOS and UVO connect to quickly connect to the customer support. The roof gets LED lamps and sunroof roof control. All the functional buttons like the seat ventilation, parking assist and the 360-degree camera view are positioned in the middle. At the rear, the vehicle gets a Smart Pure Air purifier, which is first in the segment. Also, the vehicle gets a uniquely designed speaker grille and 8-speaker system from Bose. The prices of all the variants of the Kia Seltos will be announced on 22nd August.
