Kia Seltos facelift gets over 31,000 bookings in just 1 month

Kia India has gathered as many as 31,716 bookings for the Seltos facelift. The booking period for the new Seltos is just over a month since the booking began on 14th July 2023.
The new Seltos starts at Rs 10.89 lakh and the top-end variant costs Rs 20 lakh. Kia has made a few tweaks to the new Seltos including a few changes on the outside and has added a few new features on the inside. The new Seltos also gets ADAS Level-2 additions. The new updated Seltos is available in three broader trims – Tech Line, GT Line and X Line. According to Kia, customers have preferred variants that HTX and above. More than 55% of customers have chosen the higher variants. Also, 19% of the customers have chosen the Pewter Olive exterior colour, which is a new addition to the model.
The new Kia Seltos facelift introduces a more assertive front grille, now larger in size. The headlamps have also undergone revision, showcasing new daytime running LEDs that extend towards the center of the grille. The fog lamps are now equipped with vertical LED lights enclosed within gloss black housings. The Seltos facelift presents a distinct design for the 18-inch machined alloy wheels, which are also available in the HTX+ variant of the Tech-Line version. At the rear, Kia has implemented changes to the tail lamps, integrating revised LED inserts connected by an LED light bar spanning the width of the boot lid.
Inside, the cabin of the updated Seltos has undergone a makeover, providing a more contemporary appearance and enhanced features. The driver retains the three-spoke, multi-functional, flat-bottom, leather-wrapped steering wheel with both tilt and telescopic adjustability. A new curved full-TFT cockpit has been introduced, accommodating two distinct 10.25-inch screens for the instrument console and touchscreen infotainment system.
Kia has significantly upgraded the safety of the new Seltos by incorporating an extensive array of standard safety features. The SUV is equipped with six airbags, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), brake assist, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), VSM (Vehicle Stability Management), and all-around disc brakes, ensuring optimal control and protection on the road. Furthermore, hill assist control and rear parking sensors enhance the convenience and boost confidence during parking maneuvers.
The Seltos provides additional safety enhancements for those selecting higher variants, including traction control with multiple modes, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) level 2 features, a 360-degree camera, and a blind view monitor. With these supplementary safety measures, the Seltos distinguishes itself as one of the safest SUVs in its category.
