Kia will launch the all-new Seltos in the Indian market by the end of this year. Kia will unveil the all-new vehicle later this month and has started releasing official teaser videos too. Here is the newest teaser video released by Kia that shows more of the upcoming car.
It should be noted that earlier the all-new Seltos was spied during an ad film shoot. The new teaser video released officially shows parts of the vehicle including the headlamp, grille, rear door handle and the tail lamp. The Seltos name was officially announced by Kia Motors earlier this year.
The all-new Seltos will take on the likes of Hyundai Creta, Nissan Kicks, Renault Captur and even Tata Harrier in the market. The Seltos gets a very modern design and looks very sophisticated. It gets 3D grille texture enclosed inside the signature Tiger Nose shape. The beautiful looking sleek headlamps are positioned on either side of the grille and they get an all-LED set-up. Even the DRL are integrated into the headlamp housing. The indicators are positioned just below the main headlamp cluster with some design elements and they do look quite good.
The tail lamp of the Kia Seltos are all-LED and they are huge in size. The wrap around split tail-lamp ensures that the Kia Seltos gets a premium look from the rear. The Seltos gets a floating-type roof design with shark fin antenna positioned at the top.
Apart from the exterior, the cabin images of the upcoming Kia Seltos were leaked too. The images show that the Seltos will get a premium cabin with high-end Bose speakers. However, we are not sure if the same specification car will be launched in the Indian market as it will cost a lot of offer such features. The cabin theme is all-black and it looks quite plush. Kia also offers rear AC vents.
The Seltos may also offer high-end features like the fully digital instrument cluster, drive modes, cruise control, HUD and many more such features. Since Kia also offers feature-rich vehicles, the Seltos is expected to get features like a 360-degree camera, cooled seats, 10.25-inch infotainment screen, wireless charger and more such features.
The engine options of the upcoming Kia Seltos are not known yet. However, it is likely to be powered by both petrol and diesel engine options. The Indian-spec Kia Seltos may come with 1.5-litre diesel and 1.5-litre petrol engine options that will be compliant with BS6 emission norms. Internationally, the car can also get Turbo-charged 1.0-litre engine that powers the Hyundai Venue in the Indian market. The Seltos will be priced competitively in the market. Interestingly, the all-new Creta will also launch in the Indian market in the coming months, which will ensure a stiff competition between the cars.
