Kia Seltos compact SUV: Check out the new TVC

Kia Motors made their debut in the Indian market last year with the Seltos SUV. Seltos became popular among the buyers in a very short span of time and is currently one of the best selling SUV in the segment. Kia Seltos became popular because of it’s bold design, features and the price at which it was offered. It is has ample road presence and is undoubtedly one of the best looking SUV currently sold in the market. Seltos competes with cars like Hyundai Creta, Tata Harrier, MG Hector and so on. Here we have an official video from Kia that shows the new TV commercial for the Seltos SUV.

The video basically shows the exterior of the Seltos SUV. The video shows a girl playing football on the streets and can be hitting various objects like trash cans, graffiti, cars, scooters and even hits the ORVM of a parked car. Finally the girl reaches next to the Seltos which was parked in the street. The girl has a look at the car and then put the ball down and aims to hit the Seltos with the ball. As she was about to hit the ball, the Seltos is switched on and with all the LED lights and bold imposing look of the car, girl backs off. The video shows that the Seltos is the ‘Badass’ and no one messes with the ‘Badass’.

Kia Seltos is a feature loaded SUV. It gets features like 360 degree camera, heads up display, ventilated seats, sunroof, wireless charging, touchscreen infotainment system, UVO connected car feature and so on. Kia Seltos is available in three different engine options in India. The engines are two petrol and one diesel unit. There is a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and 1.5 litre diesel engine.

The third engine option available is a 1.4 litre turbocharged petrol unit which is only available with the GT line trim. All the engines are BS6 compliant and are available with a manual or an automatic transmission. Prices for the Kia Seltos now start at Rs 10.91 lakh ex-showroom. Kia is currently working on sub-4 meter compact SUV which is based on the Sonet concept showcased at the Auto Expo this year.

The Kia Seltos’ petrol and diesel engines are now making their way into a range of Hyundai cars including the Verna, Creta and Venue. Even the upcoming Kia Sonet will borrow its diesel engine from the Seltos.
